Abstract
Children's moral development is an important aspect in the formation of individual character and behavior in the future. Animation is one of the media that has a great influence on children's development, both positively and negatively. This paper aims to explore the influence of animation on children's moral development. Animation shows on gadgets can have both good and bad effects. If used wisely, it will have a good impact on children, while used unwisely, it will have a bad impact on children. Parents or families should respond wisely to the use of gadgets in children and supervise when children use gadgets. This study aims to analyze the effect of the animated series “Nusa Rara” on the moral development of children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Raudlatul Athfal Kelurahan Walikukun, Serang Regency, Banten. This study uses a quantitative approach with an experimental method with a Nonprobabaility sampling sample of 30 children aged 5-6 years. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire with a rating scale assessment technique in the form of a checklist. Based on the results of the study obtained a significance value < α value (0.000 < 0.05) Hₒ is rejected and Hₐ is accepted or there is a significant effect of using audio-visual media through the animated series “Nusa Rara” on the moral development of children aged 5-6 years

| Additional Information: | Perkembangan moral anak merupakan aspek penting dalam pembentukan karakter dan perilaku individu di masa depan. Animasi merupakan salah satu media yang memberikan pengaruh besar terhadap perkembangan anak, baik secara positif maupun negatif. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh animasi terhadap perkembangan moral anak. Tayangan animasi pada gadget dapat berpengaruh baik dan buruk. Jika digunakan secara bijak maka akan berdampak baik pada anak, sedangkan digunakan secara tidak bijak maka akan berdampak buruk pada anak. Orangtua atau keluarga hendaknya menyikapi dengan bijak penggunaan gadget pada anak serta mengawasi pada saat anak menggunakan gadget. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh serial animasi “nusa rara” terhadap perkembangan moral anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Raudlatul Athfal Kelurahan Walikukun, Kabupaten Serang, Banten. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendeketan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen dengan sampel Nonprobabaility sampling sebanyak 30 anak dengan usia 5-6 tahun. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuisioner dengan teknik penilaian rating scale bentuk checklis. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai signifikansi < nilai α (0,000 < 0,05) Hₒ ditolak dan Hₐ diterima atau terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan media audio visual melalui serial animasi “Nusa Rara” terhadap perkembangan moral anak usia 5-6 tahun. | |||||||||
