Abstract
IMPLEMENTATION OF TRANSPORTATION DEMAND MANAGEMENT STRATEGY ( TDM ) AT KRAKATAU INDUSTRIAL AREA CILEGON CITY IRFAN AGUSTIANTO ABSTRACT The increasing of development and economic growth projections in the big cities such as Krakatau Industrial Area in Cilegon city, that would cause transportation problems such as traffic jam. This transportation problem needs exatly problem solving, this solving does not put forward the problem solving instantly without regard to sustainability. Therefore, the policy development of urban transport infrastructure system at Indonesia using conventional approaches that are predict and provide should be abandoned and replaced with new approach that are predict and Prevent. One way that can be done is by managing the demand side which is known as the Transportation Demand Management (TDM). The method which is used to choose the TDM strategy at Krakatau Industrial Area Cilegon city is the ranking method. Data is obtained by filling the questionnaire on 8 respondents who understand and can take transportation policy at Krakatau Industrial Area Cilegon city. Data processing is done by the help of Microsoft Excel program with the results Telework is the first rank as an appropriate strategy to be applied, and the program appropriate with the characteristics of Krakatau Industrial Area Cilegon city. Based on the results of the simulation analysis by using the methods of literature study on the implementation of telework, the implementation of telework in reducing traffic jam at Krakatau Industrial Area Cilegon city probability about 6.12% -23.66% of workers potentially do telework. Additional Information: | ENERAPAN STRATEGI TRANSPORTATION DEMAND MANAGEMENT (TDM) DI KAWASAN INDUSTRI KRAKATAU KOTA CILEGON IRFAN AGUSTIANTO INTISARI Semakin majunya perkembangan dan proyeksi pertumbuhan ekonomi di sebuah kota-kota besar seperti di Kawasan Industri Krakatau kota Cilegon, yang nantinya akan menimbulkan permasalahan transportasi seperti kemacetan kendaraan bermotor. Permasalahan transportasi ini memerlukan penanganan yang tepat, dimana dalam penanganan ini tidak mengedepankan penyelesaian masalah seketika tanpa memperhatikan keberlanjutan. Oleh sebab itu, kebijakan pengembangan sistem prasarana transportasi perkotaan di Indonesia yang menggunakan pendekatan konvensional yaitu predict and provide harus ditinggalkan dan diganti dengan pendekatan baru yaitu predict and prevent. Salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan adalah dengan pengelolaan pada sisi demand yang dikenal dengan istilah Transportation Demand Management (TDM). Metode yang digunakan untuk memilih strategi TDM pada Kawasan Industri Krakatau kota Cilegon adalah metode rangking. Data diperoleh berdasarkan pengisian kuisioner terhadap 8 responden yang dianggap memahami dan dapat mengambil kebijakan transportasi di Kawasan Industri Krakatau kota Cilegon. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan bantuan program microsoft excel dengan hasil Telework menempati rangking pertama sebagai strategi yang tepat untuk diterapkan, dan program tersebut sesuai dengan karakteristik Kawasan Industri Krakatau kota Cilegon. Berdasarkan hasil analisa simulasi dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur terhadap penerapan Telework, maka penerapan Telework dalam mengurangi kemacetan di Kawasan Industri Krakatau kota Cilegon kemungkinan sebesar 6,12%-23,66% pekerja yang berpotensial melakukan Telework..
