Abstract

Pandemic has led to various widespread issues in almost every country, including Indonesia. One of the sectors affected is education, which has undergone significant changes as a result of this pandemic. The increased use of technology is one of the main consequences, especially in communication, transactions, and daily activities. This is driven by the transition from the era of Industry 4.0 to the era of Industry 5.0, which has been further accelerated by the pandemic, Social media has become a highly effective means of communication, sharing information, and engaging in various other activities. However, social media is also vulnerable to the spread of negative content such as fake news, hate speech, and provocation. Nevertheless, social media can also serve as an effective platform for educational activities, especially during the COVID19 pandemic, which has necessitated remote learning activities, This research selected the city of Serang as the research area, as it is the administrative center of Banten Province and reflects the level of educational success in the region. The research object was chosen at the Integrated Islamic School of Widya Cendekia Serang, which is known for its good management of social media. This study used the PII Model (Preparation, Implementation, Impact) to evaluate the management of Instagram social media at the school, The results of the study show that evaluation at the preparation stage involves content planning, target segmentation, and Islamic positioning imaging. The implementation stage evaluates content production, the use of Instagram features, and user interaction. Meanwhile, the impact stage highlights the increase in followers as an indicator of the success of the strategy, with a focus on growth analysis, influencing factors, and collaboration opportunities. In conclusion, evaluation at each stage is crucial for understanding the effectiveness of social media management and improving the quality of content and user interaction.

Additional Information: Pandemi telah menyebabkan munculnya berbagai permasalahan yang berdampak luas di hampir semua negara, termasuk Indonesia. Salah satu sektor yang terdampak adalah sektor pendidikan, yang mengalami perubahan signifikan sebagai akibat dari pandemi ini. Peningkatan penggunaan teknologi menjadi salah satu dampak utama, terutama dalam komunikasi, transaksi, dan kegiatan sehari-hari. Hal ini didorong oleh masa transisi dari era industri 4.0 menuju era industri 5.0, yang semakin dipercepat oleh pandemi, Media sosial menjadi sarana yang sangat efektif dalam berkomunikasi, berbagi informasi, dan melakukan berbagai kegiatan lainnya. Namun, media sosial juga rentan terhadap penyebaran konten negatif seperti berita palsu, ujaran kebencian, dan provokasi. Namun demikian, media sosial juga dapat menjadi platform efektif dalam kegiatan pendidikan, terutama selama pandemi COVID-19 yang memaksa aktivitas belajar dilakukan dari rumah, Penelitian ini memilih Kota Serang sebagai wilayah penelitian, karena merupakan pusat pemerintahan Provinsi Banten dan mencerminkan tingkat keberhasilan pendidikan di wilayah tersebut. Objek penelitian dipilih di Sekolah Islam Terpadu Widya Cendekia Serang, yang terkenal dengan pengelolaan media sosialnya yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan Model PII (Preparation, Implementation, Impact) untuk mengevaluasi pengelolaan media sosial Instagram di sekolah tersebut, Hasil penelitian menunjukkan evaluasi pada tahap persiapan melibatkan perencanaan konten, segmentasi target, dan pencitraan posisi Islam. Tahap implementasi mengevaluasi produksi konten, penggunaan fitur Instagram, dan interaksi pengguna. Sedangkan tahap dampak menyoroti peningkatan jumlah pengikut sebagai indikator keberhasilan strategi, dengan fokus pada analisis pertumbuhan, faktor-faktor pengaruh, dan peluang kolaborasi. Kesimpulannya, evaluasi pada setiap tahap krusial untuk memahami efektivitas pengelolaan media sosial dan meningkatkan kualitas konten serta interaksi pengguna.
