Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of team games tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model on the learning outcomes of grade XI students in Sociology subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Caringin. The research was conducted with a quantitative approach through an experimental with a posttest only control group design. The population in this study amounted to 106 students with sampling through purposive sampling technique. Research data were collected through test, observation, and documentation techniques. The instrument used was a test consisting of 22 items of multiple choice questions. The research data were analyzed through normality test, homogeneity, and hypothesis testing using independent samples t-test. The results of the research through the independent samples t-test test showed a value of 0.002 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So it is stated that the team games tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning model has a significant effect on the learning outcomes of class XI students in sociology subjects at SMA Negeri 1 Caringin.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament (TGT) terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran Sosiologi di SMA Negeri 1 Caringin. Penelitian dilakukan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis eksperimen berdesain posttest only control group design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 106 siswa dengan penarikan sampel melalui teknik purposive sampling. Data penelitian dihimpun melalui teknik tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes yang terdiri dari 22 item soal pilihan ganda. Data penelitian dianalisis melalui uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji hipotesis menggunakan uji independent samples t-test. Hasil penelitian melalui uji independent samples t-test menunjukkan nilai 0,002 < 0,05 yang berarti Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Sehingga dinyatakan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe team games tournament (TGT) berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas XI pada mata pelajaran sosiologi di SMA Negeri 1 Caringin | |||||||||
