Abstract
This study was conducted to see whether there is an influence of the use of podcast-based audio visual media on literacy skills in the history subject of the proclamation of Indonesian independence for class XI IPA at SMAN 1 Ciruas. In addition to determining the influence of the media, this study also tested the effectiveness of podcast-based audio visual media as teaching materials in class. This study utilized a quasi-experimental approach, and sampling was carried out using the Purposive Sampling method. This study collected data using pretests and posttests. The results obtained from this study are the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 and Tcount = 8.621> Ttable 1.687 then H0 is rejected, Ha is accepted, it can be interpreted that there is an influence of the use of podcast-based audio-visual media on students' literacy skills. And the sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 <0.05 and if Tcount = 14.310> Ttable 1.687 then Ho is rejected, Ha is accepted, it can be interpreted that the use of podcast-based audio-visual media affects students' literacy skills. This influence is based on the results of students' answers and observations during the study, namely students can answer questions well after students are given learning using podcast-based audio-visual media. Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk melihat apakah terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media audio visual berbasis podcast terhadap keterampilan literasi pada mata pelajaran sejarah materi proklmasi kemerdekaan Indonesia kelas XI IPA di SMAN 1 Ciruas. Selain untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari media dalam penelitian ini juga dilakukan uji keefektifan dari media audio visual berbasis podcast sebagai bahan ajar dikelas. Studi ini memanfaatkan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen, serta pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode Purposive Sampling. Penelitian ini mengumpulakn data menggunakan pretest dan posttest. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 dan Thitung = 8.621 > Ttabel 1.687 maka H0 ditolak, Ha diterima maka dapat diartikan bahwa adanya pengaruh dari penggunaan media audio visual berbasis podcast terhadap keterampilan literasi siswa. Dan Nilai sig.(2-tailed) sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 dan jika Thitung = 14.310 >Ttabel 1.687 maka Ho ditolak, Ha diterima, bahwa dapat diartikan penggunaan media audio visual berbasis podcast mempengaruhi keterampilan literasi peserta didik. pengaruh ini didasari oleh hasil jawaban dan observasi peserta didik selama penelitian, yaitu peserta didik dapat menjawab pertanyaan dengan baik setelah peserta didik diberikan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media audio visual berbasisi podcast.
