Abstract

Literacy is very important for students because literacy skills will affect their learning success and their lives. The purpose of this study was to produce a puppet story stage media product based on reading literacy. This research uses the R&d method which has been modified by Sugiyono (2010: 409) which has six stages, namely: (1) Problem analysis, (2) Data Collection, (3) Product Design, (4) Design Validation, (5) Design Revision , (6) Product trials. The validation results of material experts were 96%, linguists 92% and media experts 92% and the results of the student response questionnaire were 97.6% with very good criteria. Learning in class III using finger puppet media takes place enthusiastically in role playing and reading literacy-based puppet story stage media that is developed can be stated very properly as evidenced by the average results obtained reaching a percentage of 92%.

Additional Information: Literasi sangat penting bagi siswa karena keterampilan literasi akan berpengaruh terhadap keberhasilan belajar mereka dan kehidupannya. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan produk media panggung cerita boneka berbasis literasi membaca. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode R&d yang telah dimodifikasi oleh Sugiyono (2010:409) yang memiliki enam tahap yaitu: (1) Analisis masalah, (2) Pengumpulan Data, (3) Desain Produk, (4) Validasi Desain, (5) Revisi Desain, (6) Uji coba Produk. Hasil validasi ahli materi 96%, ahli bahasa 92% dan ahli media 92% dan hasil dari angket respon siswa 97,6% denngan kriteria sangat baik. Pembelajaran dikelas III dengan menggunakan media boneka jari berlangsung dengan antusias bermain peran dan media panggung cerita boneka berbasis literasi membaca yang dikembangkan dapat dinyatakan dengan sangat layak dibuktikan dengan hasil rata-rata yang didapat mencapai presentase sebesar 92%.
