Abstract

Significant changes have occurred in education. Teaching models have shifted from merely providing information to approaches that focus more on developing 4C skills. The application of the Numbered Heads Together model enables the development of 4C skills. This study aims to determine the effect of the Numbered Heads Together type of Cooperative Learning model on students' 4C skills and to identify the differences in 4C skill outcomes between the experimental and control classes. This research employs a quantitative method with a Quasi-Experimental design, using a Pretest and Posttest with Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Based on the data analysis results, the first hypothesis test obtained a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.000, which is less than 0.05, indicating that the Numbered Heads Together model influences students' 4C skills. This is evidenced by the average scores obtained by students in the experimental class, which was 75.71, higher than the control class, which was 72.57. Furthermore, the second hypothesis test showed a sig (2-tailed) value of 0.003, which is less than 0.05, indicating a difference in 4C skill outcomes between the experimental and control classes. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the Numbered Heads Together model has a positive effect on the 4C skills of seventh-grade students on the topic of biodiversity in Banten and that there is a difference in the 4C skill outcomes between the experimental and control classes.

Additional Information: Perubahan dalam pendidikan telah terjadi secara signifikan. Model pengajaran telah berubah dari sekedar memberikan informasi menjadi pendekatan yang lebih fokus pada pengembangan keterampilan 4C. Penerapan model Numbered Head Together memungkinkan dapat mengembangkan keterampilan 4C. Tujuan pada penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Cooperative Learning tipe Numbered Head Together terhadap keterampilan 4C siswa serta untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil keterampilan 4C siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif desain Quasy Experimental dengan rancangan Pretest and Postest with Nonequivalent Control Group Desain. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, hasil pengujian hipotesis pertama memperoleh nilai sig (2-tailed) yaitu 0.000 lebih kecil dari 0.05 yang artinya model Numbered Head Together berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan 4C siswa. Hal ini dapat dibuktikan dari hasil rata-rata yang diperoleh siswa, pada kelas eksperimen yaitu 75.71 lebih tinggi dibanding kelas kontrol yaitu 72.57. Selain itu, hasil pengujian hipotesis kedua menunjukkan nilai sig (2-tailed) sebesar 0.003 lebih kecil dari 0.05 yang artinya terdapat perbedaan hasil keterampilan 4C siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Maka dapat disimpulkan penggunaan model Numbered Head Together memberikan pengaruh positif terhadap keterampilan 4C siswa kelas VII pada materi keanekaragaman hayati Banten, dan adanya perbedaan hasil keterampilan 4C siswa antara kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol.
