Abstract

Layout is the method of arraging facilities to support smooth operational process within them. Food proccesing factories have additional standards, namely good manufacturing practices. The factory designed in this research is a food processing factory, so good manufacturing practices are a primary consideration. One aspect considered from good manufaturing practices is designing a sanitation room for sanitation and hygiene activities for workers before entering the production area. Additionally, based on good manufacturing practices, there is also a proposal for processinng vegetable or organic waste product. This waste is processed into liquid organikc fertilizier in the form of eco enzyms, which are beneficial for agriculture, among other things. The layout determination in this research uses the CRAFT method with two alternatinatives created. The alternative chosen in this reesearch is alternative 2 with the shortest transfer disance of 129,1 meters.

Additional Information: Tata Letak merupakan tata cara mengatur fasilitas guna menunjang kelancaran proses operasional di dalamnya. Pabrik olahan pangan memiliki standar tambahan, yaitu good manufacturing practices. Pabrik yang dirancang pada penelitian ini adalah pabrik olahan pangan, maka dari itu good manufacturing practices menjadi pertimbangan utama. Salah satu hal yang dipertimbangkan dari aspek good manufacturing adalah dengan merancang ruang sanitasi untuk kegiatan sanitasi dan higiene pekerja sebelum masuk ke dalam ruang produksi. Selain itu, berdasar dari good manufacturing practices juga menghasilkan usulan untuk pengolahan limbah sayur atau organik yang dihasilkan. Limbah ini diolah menjadi pupuk organik cair dengan jenis eco enzym yang bermanfaat untuk pertanian salah satunya. Penentuan tata letak pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode CRAFT dengan dibuat 2 alternatif. Alternatif yang terpilih pada penelitian ini adalah alternatif 2 dengan jarak perpindahan terpendek, yaitu 129,1 meter.
