Abstract

Thessalonica Ayu, NIM 6661170042, Effectiveness of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus Program at the Upper Middle School (SMA) Education Level at SMAN 37 Jakarta. Education in general is a conscious effort carried out systematically in creating a teaching and learning atmosphere so that students can develop their own potential. The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Education Department, implemented a 12-year Compulsory Education program in 2012. To support this program, they implemented a policy of providing funding for Education Operational Costs (BOP) and Personal Education Cost Assistance (BBPP) through the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus program. . This program aims to improve the quality of life through education, so that the younger generation from disadvantaged families can have the same opportunity to access quality education. The aim of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the KJP Plus program that was rolled out at SMAN 37 Jakarta. This research used a quantitative approach involving 58 respondents who were selected using a non-probability sampling technique with purposive sampling. This technique was chosen so that the respondents involved truly represent the groups most relevant to the research objectives. In testing the validity and reliability of the data, this research used SPSS v.25 software. Meanwhile, data presentation, descriptive tests and correlation tests were carried out using Microsoft Excel. The results of this research show that the KJP Plus program has been running effectively with a percentage of 80.1% and has provided real benefits in improving the social welfare of students at SMAN 37 Jakarta. These benefits can be seen, among other things, from increasing students' access to educational facilities and increasing their learning motivation. Based on the research that has been carried out, there are several suggestions that can be considered to improve further research and the work system of KJP Plus. First, it is necessary to carry out more in-depth research regarding the work process of suggestions and complaints made by KJP recipients to related institutions. Apart from that, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government as the organizer of the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus program needs to increase active and massive socialization, both between institutions and institutions with individuals or KJP Plus recipients. Additional Information: Pendidikan secara umum merupakan suatu usaha sadar yang dilakukan secara sistematis dalam mewujudkan suasana belajar-mengajar agar para peserta didik dapat menggembangkan potensi dirinya sendiri. Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta melalui Dinas Pendidikan melaksanakan program Wajib Belajar 12 tahun pada tahun 2012. Untuk mendukung program ini, mereka memberlakukan kebijakan pemberian dana Biaya Operasional Pendidikan (BOP) dan Bantuan Biaya Personal Pendidikan (BBPP) melalui program Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) Plus. Program ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas hidup melalui pendidikan, sehingga generasi muda dari keluarga tidak mampu dapat memiliki kesempatan yang sama dalam mengakses pendidikan berkualitas. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas program KJP Plus yang digulirkan tersebut di SMAN 37 Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 58 responden yang dipilih melalui teknik nonprobability sampling dengan jenis purposive sampling. Teknik ini dipilih agar responden yang terlibat benar-benar mewakili kelompok yang paling relevan dengan tujuan penelitian. Dalam pengujian validitas dan reliabilitas data, penelitian inimenggunakan bantuan software SPSS v.25. Sedangkan untuk penyajian data, uji deskriptif, dan uji korelasi dilakukan dengan menggunakan bantuan Microsoft Excel. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkanbahwa program KJP Plus telah berjalan dengan efektif dengan presentase 80,1% dan memberikan manfaat nyata dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan sosial siswa di SMAN 37 Jakarta. Manfaat tersebut antara lain terlihat dari peningkatan akses siswa terhadap fasilitas pendidikan dan peningkatan motivasi belajar mereka. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan, ada beberapa saran yang dapat dipertimbangkan untuk menyempurnakan penelitian selanjutnya dan sistem kerja dari KJP Plus. Pertama, perlu dilakukan penelitian lebih mendalam mengenai proses kerja dari sarandan pengaduan yang dilakukan oleh para penerima KJP kepada lembaga terkait. Selain itu, Pemerintah Provinsi DKI Jakarta sebagai penyelenggara program Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) Plus perlu meningkatkan sosialisasi yang aktif dan masif, baik kepada antar institusi maupun institusi dengan individu atau penerima KJP Plus. Terakhir, perlu dipastikan bahwa KJP Plus tidak hanya meningkatkan akses pendidikan tetapi juga kualitas pembelajaran.
