Abstract

The iron and steel industry has an important role in the development of the manufacturing and infrastructure sectors in Indonesia, considering that demand continues to increase along with national development. PT Krakatau Steel as a state- owned company and parent company of PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia, continues to strive to support the growth of the steel industry through product diversification and increasing added value. However, intense competition and lack of brand awareness are the main challenges for PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia. This research aims to design effective promotional media to increase brand awareness of PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia's light steel products. The promotional media designed includes company profiles, brochures, product catalogs and standing banners. With appropriate and integrated design, it is hoped that it can strengthen the brand's position in the market, reach a wider audience, and support more efficient marketing efforts. The specific aim of this design is to create promotional media that is comprehensive and in accordance with graphic design rules, as well as helping the sales team market products more effectively. Through this research, it is hoped that PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia can increase brand awareness and expand market share, as well as make a positive contribution to marketing strategies in the competitive steel industry.

Additional Information: Industri besi dan baja memiliki peranan penting dalam perkembangan sektor manufaktur dan infrastruktur di Indonesia, mengingat permintaan yang terus meningkat seiring dengan pembangunan nasional. PT Krakatau Steel sebagai BUMN dan induk perusahaan dari PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia, terus berupaya mendukung pertumbuhan industri baja melalui diversifikasi produk dan peningkatan nilai tambah. Namun, persaingan yang ketat dan kurangnya brand awareness menjadi tantangan utama bagi PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang media promosi yang efektif guna meningkatkan brand awareness produk-produk baja ringan PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia. Media promosi yang dirancang meliputi company profile, brosur, katalog produk, dan standing banner. Dengan perancangan yang tepat dan terintegrasi, diharapkan dapat memperkuat posisi merek di pasar, menjangkau audiens yang lebih luas, serta mendukung upaya pemasaran yang lebih efisien. Adapun tujuan spesifik dari perancangan ini adalah menciptakan media promosi yang komprehensif dan sesuai dengan kaidah desain grafis, serta membantu tim sales dalam memasarkan produk dengan lebih efektif. Melalui penelitian ini, diharapkan PT Krakatau Niaga Indonesia dapat meningkatkan brand awareness dan memperluas pangsa pasar, serta memberikan kontribusi positif dalam strategi pemasaran di industri baja yang kompetitif.
