Abstract

Mustard greens are a vegetable plant which is included in the cabbage family and its type is an annual plant which has an important role in improving people's nutrition as well as Indonesian economic activities as a vegetable commodity which is quite popular and in demand among the public, so efforts are needed to ensure that mustard greens production remains stable and increases. One of them is by paying attention to the growing environment of mustard plants, such as providing nutrition through fertilization using organic materials, one of which is by providing liquid organic fertilizer from gamal leaves as an organic fertilizer to provide nutrients for mustard plants to increase growth and yield, and liquid organic fertilizer from gamal leaves can be obtained. easily and at a low price. This research is experimental research carried out from February 2024 to May 2024, at the Persada Blok AB No. Housing Complex. 06, Walantaka District, Serang City, Banten Province. The experimental design used in the research was a non-factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD), which consisted of one factor, namely administering a dose of POC of gamal leaves (M) with 7 levels, namely without liquid organic fertilizer (M0), 20 ml/polybag (M1 ), 40 ml/polybag (M2), 60 ml/polybag (M3), 80 ml/polybag (M4), 100 ml/polybag (M5), and 120 ml/polybag (M6). The results of the research show that there is a very real influence and a real influence on plant growth components, namely leaf length (3 WAP), leaf width (2-3 WAP), and on the yield component there is a real influence on plant fresh weight and plant dry weight, as well as there is the highest and best dose for plant height, leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves, tuber diameter, root length, plant fresh weight and plant dry weight at a dose level of 120 ml/polybag.

Additional Information: Sawi merupakan tanaman sayuran yang termasuk dalam family kubis-kubisan pada jenisnya termasuk tanaman semusim yang memiliki peran penting dalam penyempurnaan gizi masyarakat serta kegiatan perekonomian Indonesia sebagai komoditi sayuran yang cukup populer dan diminati dikalangan masyarakat, sehingga diperlukan upaya agar produksi sawi tetap stabil dan meningkat. Salah satunya dengan cara memperhatikan lingkungan tumbuh tanaman sawi seperti penyediaan nutrisi melalui pemupukan dengan pemanfaatan bahan organik salah satunya dengan pemberian pupuk organik cair daun gamal sebagai pupuk organik untuk penyediaan nutrisi bagi tanaman sawi dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan dan hasil, serta pupuk organik cair daun gamal dapat diperoleh dengan mudah dan harga yang murah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang dilaksanakan pada bulan Februari 2024 sampai dengan Mei 2024, bertempat di Kompleks Perumahan Persada Blok AB No. 06, Kecamatan Walantaka, Kota Serang, Provinsi Banten. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan pada penelitian adalah Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non Faktorial, yang terdiri dari satu faktor, yaitu pemberian dosis POC daun gamal (M) dengan 7 taraf, yaitu tanpa pupuk organik cair (M0), 20 ml/polybag (M1), 40 ml/polybag (M2), 60 ml/polybag (M3), 80 ml/polybag (M4), 100 ml/polybag (M5), dan 120 ml/polybag (M6). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat adanya pengaruh sangat nyata dan pengaruh nyata dengan komponen pertumbuhan tanaman yaitu panjang daun (3 MST), lebar daun (2-3 MST), serta pada komponen hasil terdapat pengaruh nyata pada berat segar tanaman dan berat kering tanaman, serta terdapat dosis tertinggi dan terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, panjang daun, lebar daun, jumlah daun, diameter bonggol, panjang akar, berat segar tanaman dan berat kering tanaman pada taraf dosis 120 ml/polybag.
