Abstract

This study aimed to develop and determine the feasibility of biodiversity e-magazine based on contextual learning to support environmental literacy. The research method used was Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D research design (define, design, develop, and disseminate). This research was only conducted up to the develop stage. The research was conducted at the Department of Biology Education at Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa and at SMAN 7 Kabupaten Tangerang from June 2023 to June 2024. The results of the biodiversity e-magazine feasibility test received an average score of 91.66% (very feasible) on the material assessment and 94.44% (very feasible) on the media assessment. The results of the teacher user response test obtained a score of 96.87% (very feasible) and the student user response test obtained an average score of 85.44% (very feasible). This shows that the biodiversity e-magazine based on contextual learning to support students' environmental literacy is suitable for use as learning media.
