Abstract

This research is based on fluctuating decrease in the amount of rice production in the period from 2018-2022, causing low farmer incomes in Sukajaya Village, Pontang District, Serang Regency. The decrease in production was caused by farmers' inability to allocate optimal use of production factors so that the income received by farmers was low. The aim of this research is to analyze the magnitude of the influence of the use of production inputs, using both the F test (simultaneous) and the t test (partial) on rice production and determine the level of allocative efficiency of the use of production inputs in lowland rice farming in Sukajaya Village, Pontang District, Regency. Attack. This research uses quantitative descriptive methods. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and interviews. The sampling technique in this research used a simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 83 farmers. The data processing methods used are Cobb-Douglas production function analysis and allocative efficiency analysis. Based on research results which show simultaneously (F test), the use of land area, seeds, labor, urea fertilizer and NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on rice production. Meanwhile, partially (uj t) the use of land area input, seeds and NPK fertilizer has a significant effect on lowland rice production and the remaining labor input and urea fertilizer have no significant effect on rice production. The level of efficiency of lowland rice farming shows that the results of using land area inputs have an efficiency value of 2.096 (not yet efficient), seeds of 13.326 (not yet efficient), labor of -0.868 (not efficient), urea fertilizer of 1.102 (not yet efficient) and NPK fertilizer. amounting to 8,317 (not yet efficient).
