Abstract
Researchers describe the interaction patterns of parents and children in Sukadana village, ciomas sub-district, serang district. The purpose of this research is to see the pattern of parent-child interaction in Sukadana village in daily activities. The method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data collection approaches, such as observation, interviews, and documentation, were used by the researchers. Utilizing source triangulation to use data validity checking procedures. This study utilized the theory of symbolic interactionism, proposed by George Herbert Mead. The researchers selected two types of informants: key informants and supporting informants. These informants included parents, teenagers, and close friends of teenagers. This research examines the interaction patterns that parents have with their teenage children, especially those aged 18-22 years old. The aim is for parents to make the right decisions in the family by using three different patterns: authoritarian communication, democratic communication, and authoritarian-democratic communication. Managing communication patterns in the family can involve various actions such as impulse, perception, manipulation and consumption. These actions are performed by parents and children in daily activities, and can lead to differences in the way they interact with each other.

| Additional Information: | Peneliti menggambarkan pola interaksi orang tua dan anak di desa sukadana kecamatan ciomas kabupaten serang. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk melihat pola interaksi orang tua-anak di kampung Sukadana dalam kegiatan sehari-hari. Metode yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan pengumpulan data, seperti observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi, digunakan oleh para peneliti. Memanfaatkan triangulasi sumber untuk menggunakan prosedur pemeriksaan keabsahan data. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori interaksionisme simbolik, yang dikemukakan oleh George Herbert Mead. Para peneliti memilih dua jenis informan: informan kunci dan informan pendukung. Informan ini termasuk orang tua, remaja, dan teman dekat remaja. Penelitian ini meneliti pola interaksi yang dilakukan oleh orang tua terhadap anak remajanya, khususnya yang berusia 18-22 tahun. Tujuannya adalah agar orang tua dapat mengambil keputusan yang tepat dalam keluarga dengan menggunakan tiga pola yang berbeda: komunikasi otoriter, komunikasi demokratis, dan komunikasi otoriter-demokratis. Mengelola pola komunikasi dalam keluarga dapat melibatkan berbagai tindakan seperti impuls, persepsi, manipulasi, dan konsumsi. Tindakan-tindakan ini dilakukan oleh orang tua dan anak dalam kegiatan sehari-hari, dan dapat menyebabkan perbedaan dalam cara mereka berinteraksi satu sama lain. | |||||||||
