Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of learning models value clarification technique on the civic character of class VIII students at SMP PLUS 30 JUZ. This research is a type of quasi-experimental research with a quantitative approach. In this research sample, students in class VIII A were used as the experimental class (value clarification technique) and in class VIII B as the control class (expository). The data collection techniques used in this research were questionnaires using questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques used used in this research is using quasi experiments to present data and inferential statistics with parametric statistics to test the sample data population. The results obtained from hypothesis testing conclude that the learning model value clarification technique on citizenship character, namely that it has an influence seen from the hypothesis Ho which is not accepted/rejected with a T value of 9.875, exceeding the T table value of 1.677 with a significance level of 0.05. This means that there is a significant correlation between the learning model variables. value clarification technique on the character of citizenship.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran value clarification technique terhadap karakter kewarganegaraan pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMP PLUS 30 JUZ. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian quasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan peserta didi kelas VIII A sebagai kelas eksperimen (value clarification technique) dan dikelas VIII B sebagai kelas control (ekspositori). Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuesioner dengan menggunakan angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan quasi eskperimen untuk menyajikan data dan statistic inferensial dengan jenis statistik parametris untuk menguji populasi data sampel. Hasil yang didapatkan hasil uji hipotesis menyimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran value clarification technique terhadap karakter kewarganegaraan yaitu mempunyai pengaruh dilihat dari hipotesis Ho tidak diterima/ditolak dengan nilai thitung sebesar 9,875, melebihi nilai ttabel sebesar 1,677 dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,05 menjawab artinya adanya korelasi yang signifikansi antar variabel model pembelajaran value clarification technique terhadap karakter kewarganegaraan.
