Abstract

The low ability of students to think creatively is the cause of students' difficulties in understanding science concepts and representing problems so that it becomes the main problem currently being faced. An interactive learning model can be a solution to this problem. This research aims to analyze the influence of the Creative Problem Solving learning model on class VII students' creative thinking abilities on Indonesian Ecology and Biodiversity Material. The method used in this research was the Quasy Experiment method which was carried out in class VII of SMP Negeri 3 Serang City. Students' creative thinking abilities are measured using a test instrument in the form of descriptive questions that correspond to the creative thinking indicators, consisting of 9 questions that have gone through the validity and reliability stages. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the Independent Sample T-Test based on the N-Gain value, resulting in a significant influence on the Creative Problem Solving learning model on the creative thinking abilities of class VII students. Based on the calculation results, the value of rcount sig (2-tailed) is obtained, namely 0.001 < r_table, namely 0.05. So it can be concluded that H_1 is accepted and H_0 is rejected, which means that there is an influence of the Creative Problem Solving learning model in improving class VII students' creative thinking abilities on Indonesian Ecology and Biodiversity material.

Additional Information: Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa menjadi penyebab kesulitan siswa dalam memahami konsep IPA dan merepresentasikan permasalahan sehingga menjadi masalah utama yang kini dihadapi. Model pembelajaran interaktif dapat menjadi solusi dari permasalahan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VII pada Materi Ekologi dan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode Quasy Experiment yang dilaksanakan pada kelas VII SMP Negeri 3 Kota Serang. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa diukur menggunakan instrumen tes berbentuk soal uraian yang sesuai dengan indikator berpikir kreatif sebanyak 9 soal yang telah melalui tahap validitas dan reliabilitas. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan dengan uji Independent Sample T- Test berdasarkan nilai N-Gain mendapatkan hasil adanya pengaruh yang signifikan pada model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VII. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan diperoleh nilai r_hitung sig (2-tailed) yaitu 0,001 < r_tabel yaitu 0,05. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa H_1 diterima dan H_0 ditolak yang artinya terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa kelas VII pada materi Ekologi dan Keanekaragaman Hayati Indonesia.
