Abstract
Mistakes made by students in circle material in class XI vocational schools are often found, especially in learning that is integrated with vocational material. This indicates that learning barriers will persist if not addressed. Therefore, teachers need to design effective mathematics lessons to overcome the difficulties experienced by students. This research aims to implement a didactic situation design as an effort to overcome learning obstacles in circle material that is integrated with vocational lessons, which is expected to address the learning difficulties faced by students. The research was conducted at SMKN 7, Serang City, in class XI, Department of Mechanical Engineering, during the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This method is carried out in three stages: analysis of the didactic situation before learning (prospective analysis), analysis during the learning process (metapedadidactic analysis), and analysis after learning (retrospective analysis). Data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. From the analysis of the diagnostic test results and final identification, it was found that learning obstacles were reduced, indicating that the designed and implemented didactic design effectively overcame the learning obstacles experienced by students. Consequently, the didactic design developed for circle geometry material is considered capable of improving student learning outcomes and minimizing learning obstacles. Student responses were positive, as demonstrated by their enthusiasm during learning and optimal learning outcomes.

Additional Information: | Kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa pada materi lingkaran di kelas XI SMK sering ditemukan, terutama dalam pembelajaran yang terintegrasi dengan materi kejuruan. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa hambatan belajar akan berlanjut jika tidak diatasi. Oleh karena itu, guru perlu merancang pembelajaran matematika yang efektif untuk mengatasi kesulitan-kesulitan yang dialami siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan rancangan situasi didaktis sebagai upaya mengatasi learning obstacle pada materi lingkaran yang terintegrasi dengan pelajaran kejuruan yang diharapkan dapat mengatasi kesulitan belajar yang dialami siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 7 kota Serang kelas XI Jurusan Teknik Mesin semester genap pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Metode ini dilakukan melalui tiga tahap, yaitu analisis situasi didaktis sebelum pembelajaran (analisis prospektif), analisis pada saat proses pembelajaran (analisis metapedadidaktik), dan analisis setelah pembelajaran (analisis retrospektif). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Dari analisis hasil tes diagnostik dan identifikasi akhir didapat penurunan learning obstacle sehingga hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa desain didaktis yang dirancang dan diterapkan dapat mengatasi learning obstacle yang dialami siswa. Sehingga desain didaktis yang dikembangkan dalam materi geometri pada lingkaran dinilai dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dan meminimalisir hambatan belajar yang dialami siswa. Adapun respon siswa menunjukkan ke arah yang positif ditunjukkan dengan antusias siswa pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung, serta hasil belajar yang optimal. | |||||||||
