Abstract
The floods in Semarang City from 13 March to 27 March 2024 were discussed in the mass media and spread to online media. Two of the media outlets that reported on the floods in Semarang City in March 2024 were Tribunnews.com and Detik.com. Of the many news articles that researchers found, researchers saw that there were differences in the framing of news related to the flood in Semarang City in March 2024. This research aims to see how the framing analysis on the news of the flood natural disaster in Semarang City on Tribunnews.com and Detik.com for the period 13 March - 27 March 2024 using the framing analysis model of Robert N. Entman. The theory used is the theory of social construction of reality from Peter L. Berger and Thomas Luckmann. The method used is Robert N. Entman's framing analysis which consists of four sets of analysis elements, namely define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgements, and treatment recommendations. This research uses the four stages of the disaster management cycle concept, namely response, recovery, mitigation, and preparedness. The result of the research is that the news packaged by Tribunnews.com sees more from the expert's view and the event is seen because of high rainfall. Meanwhile, the news packaged by Detik.com looks from the humanist side by becoming a forum for victims affected by the flood to tell their stories and the event is seen as a disaster by victims affected by the flood. In addition, researchers concluded that Tribunnews.com and Detik.com had fulfilled the four stages of the disaster management cycle.

Salah dua media yang turut memberitakan peristiwa bencana alam banjir di Kota Semarang pada Maret 2024 adalah Tribunnews.com dan Detik.com. Dari sekian banyak berita yang peneliti temukan, peneliti melihat bahwa terdapat perbedaan dalam pembingkaian berita terkait peristiwa banjir di Kota Semarang pada Maret 2024. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat bagaimana analisis framing pada pemberitaan bencana alam banjir di Kota Semarang Pada Tribunnews.com dan Detik.com Periode 13 Maret – 27 Maret 2024 dengan menggunakan model analisis framing dari Robert N. Entman. Teori yang digunakan adalah teori konstruksi sosial realitas dari Peter L. Berger dan Thomas Luckmann. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis framing dari Robert N. Entman yang terdiri dari empat perangkat elemen analisis yaitu define problems, diagnose causes, make moral judgment, dan treatment recommendation. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat tahap konsep siklus manajemen bencana yaitu response, recovery, mitigation, dan preparedness. Hasil dari penelitian adalah berita yang dikemas oleh Tribunnews.com lebih banyak melihat dari pandangan ahli dan peristiwa dipandang sebagai akibat dari curah hujan yang tinggi. Sedangkan, berita yang dikemas oleh Detik.com melihat dari sisi humanis dengan menjadi wadah bagi korban yang terdampak banjir untuk menceritakan kisah yang dialaminya dan peristiwa dipandang sebagai musibah oleh korban yang terdampak banjir. Selain itu, peneliti menyimpulkan Tribunnews.com dan Detik.com sudah memenuhi empat tahap siklus manajemen bencana. | ||||||
