Abstract
THE APPLICATION OF EXPERIMENTAL METHOD TO INCREASE LEARNING ATIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS LEARNING SCIENCE OF THE CHILDREN 5-6 YEARS OF PAUD ANAK BANGSA KOTA SERANG v By: NOPIANA 2228092916 ABSTRACT The objectives of this research were to get the viewing of learning process, result learning and the factor that influenced a study of seience by using experimental method at PAUD Anak Bangsa. This research was a classroom action research (PTK) which was done during two learning cycles. Every cycles had three meetings and it was consisted of some stages, that is: planning, realization, observation and reflection. The subject ot this research were the children of group B. The total amount of the subjects were 10 learners. Thy were 4 males and 6 females. The instrument that used in this research was the result of observation. Is was consisted of the activity observation result of children and the factors observation result that supported and inhibited the learning process of science study by using exprimental method. The technique of data analyss was by using description quantitative technique T-test and percentage system. Based on the analyzinng result of childre‟s activities. The research of experiment caculation significantly showed that: t hit = 6,26> t tab (1% = 3,25 and 5% = 2,26) and the children‟s achivement score in learning significantly showed that : t hit = 11,64 > t tab (1% = 3,25 & 5%=2,26). Good impact on average scores of the value of children learning outcomes in the first cycle reached 66.25 increased in the second cycle to 85. The results of the data analysis showed that the application of experimental methods to increase the activity and outcomes of learning science of the children 5-6 years in PAUD Anak Bangsa Kota Serang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus dan setiap siklus tiga kali pertemuan, dimana masing-masing siklus terdiri dari tahap-tahap sebagai berikut: perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun kelompok B PAUD Anak Bangsa berjumlah 10 orang anak, 4 anak laki-laki dan 6 anak perempuan. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi yang terdiri dari observasi aktivitas anak dan observasi faktor-faktor yang mendukung dan menghambat dalam pembelajaran sains dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan cara t-test dan persentase. Berdasarkan hasil analisis aktivitas anak, hasil perhitungan uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa t hit = 6,26 > t tab (1%=3,25 & 5%=2,26 ) dan skor hasil belajar anak berdasarkan uji signifikansi menunjukkan bahwa t hit = 11,64 > t tab (1%=3,25 & 5%=2,26 ). Adanya dampak yang baik rata-rata skor dari nilai hasil belajar anak yang pada siklus I mencapai 66,25 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 85. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar sains anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Anak Bangsa Kota Serang.
