Abstract
This study aims to understand the implementation of drumband extracurricular activities among children aged 4-6 years at TK Islam Tirtayasa Serang. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of this study include the School Principal, drumband extracurricular coach, parents, and 10 children from classes A and B, who are the objects of this research. The data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, documentation, and field notes. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of drumband extracurricular activities at TK Islam Tirtayasa Serang is quite good and optimal according to the intended extracurricular program. The children have mastered tones, rhythms, beats, and strikes from the initial cues to the fifth and final song. The factors supporting the implementation of drumband extracurricular activities at TK Islam Tirtayasa are the facilities provided by the school, such as complete and well-maintained drumband equipment, and adequate infrastructure like fields and a happy stage for extracurricular activities, support this. However, the inhibiting factors include children often getting tired quickly and having difficulty focusing. The solution implemented by the coach is to conduct interactive exercises and physical movements to maintain the children's attention and interest.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan ekstrakurikuler drumband pada anak usia 4-6 tahun di TK Islam Tirtayasa Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu Kepala Sekolah, Pelatih ekstrakurikuler drumband, Orang Tua Murid, serta 10 anak kelas A & B yang menjadi objek penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan catatan lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan ekstrakurikuler drumband di TK Islam Tirtayasa Serang terlihat sudah cukup baik dan optimal dalam penerapannya sesuai dengan program ekstrakurikuler yang seharusnya, yakni anak-anak telah menguasai nada, irama, ketukan hingga pukulan dari mulai aba-aba hingga lagu kelima yang terakhir. Faktor yang mendukung penerapan ekstrakurikuler di TK Islam Tirtayasa yaitu fasilitas yang disediakan oleh sekolah seperti peralatan drumband yang lengkap dan terawat, sarana dan prasarana yang memadai seperti lapangan dan panggung gembira tempat kegiatan ekstrakurikuler. Adapun faktor penghambat yaitu anak-anak sering kali cepat merasa lelah serta sulit fokus. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh pelatih yaitu melakukan latihan interaktif dan gerakan fisik untuk menjaga perhatian dan minat anak-anak. | |||||||||
