Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out how the development, feasibility and response of students and teachers to coding scratch media for fantasy story material is motivated by the lack of learning media used in schools. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method. Refers to the ADDIE model which has 5 stages, namely 1) Analysis Stage, 2) Design Stage, 4) Development Stage, 4) Implementation Stage, and 5) Evaluation Stage. . The resulting media is in the form of scratch coding for fantasy story material. This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 1 Cinangka with 31 class 7F students as research subjects. To test the suitability of the media, validation was carried out with material experts, language experts and media experts. Based on the results of the validation analysis, the scratch coding media that was developed was included in the "Very Good" category with an average of 86. And the results of the analysis of the response data from students and teachers received an average score of 85 in the "Good" category. So it can be concluded that coding scratch learning media is very good for learning Indonesian fantasy story material.

Additional Information: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengembangan, kelayakan dan respons peserta didik maupun guru terhadap media coding scratch materi cerita fantasi yang dilatarbelakangi oleh kuranngnya media pembelajaran yang digunakan di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D). Mengacu pada model ADDIE yang memiliki 5 tahapan, yaitu 1) Tahap Analisis (Analyze), 2) Tahap Desain (Design), 4) Tahap Pengembangan (Development), 4) Tahap Implementasi (Implementation), dan 5) Tahap Evaluasi (Evaluation). Media yang dihasilkan berupa coding scratch materi cerita fantasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Cinangka dengan 31 siswa kelas 7F sebagai subjek penelitian. Untuk menguji kelayakan media, dilakukan validasi dengan ahli materi, ahli bahasa, dan ahli media. Berdasarkan hasil analisis validasi media coding scratch yang dikembangkan termasuk dalam kategori “Sangat Baik” dengan rata-rata sebesar 86. Dan hasil analisis data respon peserta didik juga guru mendapatkan nilai rata-rata 85 dengan kategori “Baik”. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran coding scratch sangat baik digunakan untuk pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi cerita fantasi.
