Abstract
This research aims to determine the relationship between parents’ knowledge of the growth and development stages of children aged 3-4 years in kindergartens throughout Banjar Agung – Serang City subdistrict. This research uses quantitative correlational methods. The data collection technique in this research is by distributing questionnaires. The sampling technique used in the research was simple random sampling, namely 30 children. The statistical data analysis tehnique is by using a correlation test which shows a significance level (2 tailed) of 0,000<0,05. Shows that parental knowledge has a relationship with the growth and development stages of children aged 3-4 years. The results of the analysis have concluded that the correlation value is 0,598 and is in the interval 0,400-0,599. So it can be concluded that parents’ knowledge of children’s growth and development stages is related at a moderate level.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan orang tua terhadap tahap tumbuh kembang anak usia 3-4 tahun di TK Se-Kelurahan Banjar Agung-Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan cara menyebarkan kuesioner. Teknik penentuan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah simple random sampling yaitu sebanyak 30 anak. Teknik analisis data statistic yaitu dengan menggunakan uji korelasi yang menunjukkan tingkat nilai signifikansi (2 tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan orang tua memiliki hubungan terhadap tahap tumbuh kembang anak usia 3-4 tahun. Hasil analisis pun telah disimpulkan bahwa nilai korelasi sebesar 0,598 dan berada pada interval 0,400-0,599. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengetahuan orang tua terhadap tahap tumbuh kembang anak memiliki hubungan pada tingkat yang sedang. | |||||||||
