Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between Adiwiyata schools' efforts in Banten Province and students' environmental behavior in supporting sustainable development. The population of this study were students of SMAN 4 Pandeglang and SMAIT Raudhatul Jannah with samples of grades XI. The sample is determined by purposive sampling using the descriptive method. The data of this study was collected using a student environmental care questionnaire instrument and an interview instrument for Adiwiyata school efforts intended for principals, Adiwiyata supervisors, and teacher representatives. Based on the results of the study, the conclusion is a positive and significant relationship between Adiwiyata school efforts and environmental care behavior, which means that with the increasing Adiwiyata school efforts, students' environmental care behavior will be better, this is in line with the goals of sustainable development.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui korelasi antara upaya sekolah adiwiyata di Provinsi Banten dengan perilaku peduli lingkungan siswa dalam mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMAN 4 Pandeglang dan SMAIT Raudhatul Jannah dengan sampel kelas XI. Sampel ditentukan dengan purposive sampling dengan metode deskriptif. Data penelitian ini diambil menggunakan instrumen angket peduli lingkungan siswa dan instrumen wawancara upaya sekolah adiwiyata yang diperuntukkan untuk kepala sekolah, pembina adiwiyata dan perwakilan guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara upaya sekolah adiwiyata dengan perilaku peduli lingkungan, yang berarti dengan adanya upaya sekolah adiwiyata yang semakin tinggi maka perilaku peduli lingkungan siswa akan semakin baik hal ini sejalan dengan tujuan pembangunan berkelanjutan.
