Abstract

This research aims to produce a suitable career bag game media as a means of providing information services to help career planning for class XI MAN 1 Serang City students. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model which consists of five stages, namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The results of the needs analysis show that 10% of students have a low level of career planning, 75% have a medium level, and 15% have a high level. This indicates that services are still needed to help improve students' career planning. The validation results of material experts, media and practitioners show that the career pocket media is very suitable for use with the appropriateness percentage for each media being 100%, material 80%, and practitioners 100%. Then the overall average is 93%. In a limited trial, there was an increase in students' career planning scores between before (pretest) and after (posttest) using career bag media. The Wilcoxon test results showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (Z=-2.809; p=0.005), which means that the use of career pocket media is effective in improving students' career planning. Improved career planning can be seen from students' increased understanding of their own potential, the direction of appropriate career choices, and their ability to make career decisions. Thus, the career pocket game media developed was proven to be feasible and effective for use as a means of providing information services to help improve the career planning of class XI MAN 1 Serang City students. This media can be an alternative for guidance and counseling teachers in providing interesting and effective career guidance services.

Hal ini mengindikasikan masih diperlukannya layanan untuk membantu meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa. Hasil validasi ahli materi, media, dan praktisi menunjukkan bahwa media kantong karir sangat layak digunakan dengan persentase kelayakan masing-masing media sebesar 100%, materi 80%, dan praktisi 100%. Kemudian rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 93%. Pada uji coba terbatas, terjadi peningkatan skor perencanaan karir siswa antara sebelum (pretest) dan sesudah (posttest) menggunakan media kantong karir. Hasil uji Wilcoxon menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (Z=-2,809; p=0,005), yang berarti penggunaan media kantong karir efektif dalam meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa. Peningkatan perencanaan karir terlihat dari meningkatnya pemahaman siswa mengenai potensi diri, arah pilihan karir yang sesuai, serta kemampuan dalam mengambil keputusan karir. Dengan demikian, media permainan kantong karir yang dikembangkan terbukti layak dan efektif digunakan sebagai sarana pemberian layanan informasi untuk membantu meningkatkan perencanaan karir siswa kelas XI MAN 1 Kota Serang. Media ini dapat menjadi alternatif bagi guru bimbingan dan konseling dalam memberikan layanan bimbingan karir yang menarik dan efektif.
