Abstract

The increase in the price of raw materials, specifically soybeans, has resulted in tempeh craftsmen being unable to secure the necessary raw materials. This has led many tempeh craftsmen in Pejaten I Village to reduce their production frequency or even cease production altogether. This research aims to analyze the efficiency and sensitivity of the Tempe Industry in Pejaten Village, Kramatwatu District, Serang Regency. The research location was determined using the purposive sampling method. The methods used include observation and documentation. Data processing was carried out using business efficiency analysis to determine whether a business is feasible by examining the R/C Ratio value, B/C Ratio analysis, and sensitivity analysis. The results of this research show that all businesses run by respondents are efficient and worth continuing. This is because all businesses run by respondents have an R/C Ratio > 1 and a B/C Ratio > 1. Sensitivity analysis of business feasibility in the Tempe Industry in Kopti, Serang Regency, shows a decrease in income of 5.50% in the first scenario, 1.8% in the second scenario, and 0.4% in the third scenario. The average values of the R/C Ratio and B/C Ratio also decreased, by 5.85% in the first scenario, 1.76% in the second, and 0.27% in the third scenario. Therefore, it can be concluded that the three parameters indicate sensitivity in the Tempe Industry in Pejaten Village.

Additional Information: Kenaikan harga kedelai mengakibatkan ketidak mampuan pengrajin dalam pemenuhan bahan baku. Hal ini mengakibatkan banyaknya pengrajin tempe di Desa Pejaten mengurangi frekuensi produksinya atau bahkan berhenti berproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tingkat efisiensi dan sensitivitas Industri Tempedi Desa Pejaten. Lokasi penelitian ditentukan dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Metode pengambilan data yang digunakan meliputi observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan studiliteratur. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan analisis efisiensi usaha untuk mengetahui kelayakan suatu usaha dengan memeriksa nilai R/C Ratio, analisis B/C Ratio, dan analisis sensitivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa seluruh usaha yang dijalankan responden efisien dan layak untuk dilanjutkan. Hal ini karena seluruh usaha yang dijalankan responden mempunyai nilai R/C Ratio > 1 dan B/C Ratio > 1. Analisis sensitivitas kelayakan usaha pada Industri Tempe di Kopti Kabupaten Serang menunjukkan adanya penurunan pendapatan sebesar 5,50% pada tahun 2016. skenario pertama, 1,8% pada skenario kedua, dan 0,4% pada skenario ketiga. Nilai rata-rata R/C Ratio dan B/C Ratio juga mengalami penurunan, yaitu sebesar 5,85% pada skenario pertama, 1,76% pada skenario kedua, dan 0,27% pada skenario ketiga. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa ketiga parameter tersebut menunjukkan sensitivitas pada Industri Tempe di Desa Pejaten.
