Abstract
The research is intended to determine how the results of the influence of cooperative learning model of student facilitator and explaining type to student’s learning motivation in Grade III SDN SumberAgung of Serang city in the academic year 2016/2017 in the civic education lessons in forms of diversity, natural wealth, and hospitality. This research is using one group pretest posttest design of pre-experimental method. Based on the result of inferential data analysis of questionnaire data before treatment (pretest) and questionnaire after treatment (posttest) at significant level α = 0,05 and = 1,669. By one-way ttest right is obtained ℎ 3,990 > 1,669. Then it can be concluded the motivation of studying III graders for the subjects of civic education after being influenced by the cooperative learning model of student facilitator and explaining type belong to good category. This is evidenced by the average value of questionnaire before treatment and questionnaire after treatment, whiich has increased learning motivation from 69 (enough category) to 78 (good category).

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil dari pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student facilitator and explaining terhadap motivasi belajar siswa di kelas III SDN Sumber Agung Kota Serang tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 pada mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan khususnya pada materi kebhinekaan, kekayaan alam, dan keramahtamahan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pre-eksperimen tipe one group pretest posttest design. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data inferensial data angket sebelum perlakuan (pretest) dan angket setelah perlakuan (posttest) pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan nilai ttabel = 1,669. Dengan uji-t satu pihak kanan diperoleh ℎ 3,990 > 1,669. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi belajar siswa kelas III untuk mata pelajaran pendidikan kewarganegaraan setelah dipengaruhi model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe student facilitator and explaining tergolong pada kategori baik. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan adanya nilai rata-rata angket sebelum perlakuan (pretest) dan angket setelah perlakuan (posttest) yang mengalami peningkatan motivasi belajar dari 69 (kategori cukup) menjadi 78 (kategori baik). | |||||||||
