Abstract

One of the problems found in science learning is students' lack of interest in learning. Considering the importance of student interest in learning which greatly influences student learning outcomes, student interest in learning can be fostered through selecting interactive motion graphic based learning videos. This research was conducted to produce valid learning videos and determine the level of student response to motion graphics-based learning videos in fostering students' interest in learning. The development model used by the 4-D model has the stages define, design, develop, disseminate. The method used is the research and development (R&D) method. The instruments used were interview questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and validation questionnaires. Analyze the data descriptively, quantitatively and qualitatively. The percentage results of the learning video validation assessment obtained from material validators were 77.92% (valid), media validators 89.49% (very valid), practitioner validators 94.47% (very valid). The results of the student response level show a percentage value with an average of 82.72% (strongly agree). With this, it can be concluded that motion graphic-based learning videos on the theme of ecoenzyme, a multipurpose liquid, can be used by students in the science learning process.

Additional Information: Salah satu permasalahan yang ditemukan dalam pembelajaran IPA yaitu kurangnya minat belajar siswa. Mengingat pentingnya minat belajar siswa sangat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa, maka minat belajar siswa dapat ditumbuhkan melalui pemilihan video pembelajaran berbasis motion graphic yang interaktif. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menghasilkan video pembelajaran yang valid dan mengetahui tingkat respon siswa terhadap video pembelajaran berbasis motion graphic dalam menumbuhkan minat belajar siswa. Model pengembangan yang digunakan model 4-D memiliki tahapan define, design, develop, disseminate. Metode yang digunakan metode research and development (R&D). Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu angket wawancara, angket respon siswa, dan angket validasi. Analisis data secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil persentase penilaian validasi video pembelajaran yang diperoleh dari validator materi 77,92% (valid), validator media 89,49% (sangat valid), validator praktisi 94,47% (sangat valid). Hasil dari tingkat respon siswa menunjukan nilai persentase dengan rata-rata 82,72% (sangat setuju). Dengan hal ini dapat disimpulkan video pembelajaran berbasis motion graphic pada tema ecoenzyme si cairan serbaguna dapat digunakan oleh siswa dalam proses pembelajaran IPA.
