Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a non-communicable disease condition, a serious concern in health because it is often identified as a silent killer. This study aims to determine the description of theory and application regarding nursing care for instability of blood glucose levels in patients with type II diabetes mellitus at RSUD dr. Derajat Prawiranegara. The research method was used qualitative research with a research design that is a case study through a nursing care approach that includes nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. The subjects of this study were twopatients with type II diabetes mellitus who experienced the problem of instability of blood glucose levels at Dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Hospital. Applying the physical exercise of diabetic foot exercises performed three times a day for three consecutive days, the results of GDS in patient 1 before doing foot exercises were 268 mg/dl and after doing foot exercises for three days to 162 mg/dl, for patient 2 before doing foot exercises were 258 mg/dl and after doing foot exercises for three days to 200 mg/dl. The results of this study found that physical exercise of diabetic foot exercises can stabilize the instability of blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes mellitus

| Additional Information: | Diabetes Mellitus merupakan suatu kondisi penyakit tidak menular, menjadi perhatian serius dalam kesehatan karena sering diidentifikasi sebagai silent killer. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran teori dan aplikasi mengenai asuhan keperawatan ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus tipe II di RSUD dr. Derajat Prawiranegara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian yaitu studi kasus melalui pendekatan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian keperawatan, diagnosa keperawatan, intervensi keperawatan, implementasi keperawatan, dan evaluasi keperawatan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua pasien diabetes mellitus tipe II yang mengalami masalah ketidakstabilan kadar glukosa darah di RSUD dr. Drajat Prawiranegara. Menerapkan latihan fisik senam kaki diabetes yang dilakukan sebanyak tiga kali dalam sehari selama tiga hari berturut-turut didapatkan hasil GDS pada pasien 1 sebelum melakukan senam kaki yaitu 268 mg/dl dan setelah melakukan senam kaki selama tiga hari menjadi 162 mg/dl, untuk pasien 2 sebelum melakukan senam kaki yaitu 258 mg/dl dan setelah melakukan senam kaki selama tiga hari menjadi 200 mg/dl. Hasil penelitian ini didapatkan bahwa latihan fisik senam kaki diabetes dapat menstabilkan ketidak stabilan kadar glukosa darah pada pasien diabetes mellitus. | |||||||||
