Abstract
This study aimed to analyze the influence of TANDUR using Mind Map on students' cognitive abilities on the concept of ecosystem. This research used quasi experiment method by design randomized control posttest group only. The population in this research was all students of class X senior high school of 1 Pontang semester II of academic year 2016/2017. The sample consisted of two classes, namely class X MIA 4 with 30 students as experiment class, and X MIA 3 with 30 students as control class. The sampling technique was conducted by simple random sampling. The data were collected used both of multiple choice objective test and Mind Map assessment sheet. The result of hypothesis test of influence TANDUR method using Mind Map to student cognitive ability. This shows that there is influence of using TANDUR method using Mind Map to student's cognitive ability.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode TANDUR menggunakan mind map terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa pada konsep ekosistem. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain penelitian randomized control posttest group only. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pontang semester genap tahun pelajaran 2016/2017. Dengan sampel terdiri dari dua kelas, yaitu kelas X MIA 4 sebagai kelas eksperimen, dan kelas X MIA 3 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan siswa masing-masing kelas sebanyak 30. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan simple random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes objektif pilihan ganda dan lembar penilaian Mind Map. Hasil uji hipotesis pengaruh metode TANDUR menggunakan Mind Map terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa. Hal ini menunjukan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan metode TANDUR menggunakan Mind Map terhadap kemampuan kognitif siswa. | |||||||||
