Abstract

PT XYZ, an electricity provider company, faced a high prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) among its office workers. This study aimed to evaluate the work posture of PT XYZ employees using the Rapid Office Strain Assessment (ROSA) method and the Indonesian Ministry of Health Regulation No. 48 of 2016. This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted over three months with a quantitative approach. The results showed that only 56.25% of workers complied with the regulation, with major issues such as misaligned head, shoulder, and back positions, inadequate back support, and improper keyboard and mouse placement. A fishbone diagram analysis revealed root causes like non-ergonomic work facilities, lack of ergonomic standards and knowledge. The ROSA assessment found that 75% of workers had scores above 5 (high risk), mainly in the chair aspect. Interventions such as providing ergonomic work facilities, education, and proper work posture guidelines are necessary to reduce the risk of MSDs among office workers at PT XYZ

Penelitian deskriptif cross-sectional ini dilakukan selama tiga bulan dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa hanya 56,25% pekerja mematuhi Permenkes, dengan masalah utama seperti posisi kepala, bahu, punggung tidak selaras, sandaran punggung tidak menopang, serta letak keyboard dan mouse yang tidak sesuai. Analisis diagram fishbone mengungkap akar masalah seperti fasilitas kerja yang tidak ergonomis, kurangnya standar dan pengetahuan ergonomi. Penilaian ROSA menemukan 75% pekerja memiliki skor di atas 5 (risiko tinggi) terutama pada aspek kursi. Diperlukan intervensi seperti penyediaan fasilitas kerja ergonomis, edukasi, dan panduan postur kerja yang tepat untuk mengurangi risiko MSDs pada pekerja kantor PT XYZ.
