Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and determine the influence of social media and beauty vloggers on the learning interest of make-up training participants at LKP Cilegon City. The population in this study was 120 training participants in LKP Cilegon City, namely LKP Sekar Asih and LKP Sri Tanjung, with a sample calculated using the Slovin formula of 92 training participants. This research was conducted against the background of many people interested in becoming make-up artists (MUA), but there are still a small number of people who do not have training competency certification in their field. This data collection was carried out by observation, distributing questionnaires and documentation studies. This research method uses multiple regression analysis with a quantitative approach. The data was then processed using the IBM SPSS-25 software program. The results of this research show that: (1) social media has a significant effect on the learning interest of cosmetology training participants at LKP Cilegon City, (2) beauty vloggers have a significant effect on the learning interest of cosmetology training participants at LKP Cilegon City, (3) social media and beauty vloggers have a significant influence on the interest in learning of cosmetology training participants at LKP Cilegon City.

Additional Information: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis dan mengetahui Pengaruh Media Sosial dan Beauty Vlogger terhadap Minat Belajar Peserta Pelatihan Tata Rias di LKP Kota Cilegon. Populasi pada penelitian ini berjumlah 120 peserta pelatihan yang terdapat di LKP Kota Cilegon, yaitu LKP Sekar Asih dan LKP Sri Tanjung, dengan sampel yang sudah dihitung menggunakan rumus slovin sebanyak 92 peserta pelatihan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan latar belakang banyaknya peminat masyarakat untuk menjadi perias (MUA), namun masih sedikit masyarakat yang belum mempunyai sertifikasi kompetensi pelatihan pada bidangnya. Pengumpulan data ini dilakukan dengan observasi, menyebarkan angket atau kuisioner angket dan studi dokumentasi. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi berganda dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data kemudian diolah menggunakan program Software IBM SPSS-25. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) media sosial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat belajar peserta pelatihan tata rias di LKP Kota Cilegon, (2) beauty vlogger berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat belajar peserta pelatihan tata rias di LKP Kota Cilegon, (3) media sosial dan beauty vlogger berpengaruh signifikan terhadap minat belajar peserta pelatihan tata rias di LKP Kota Cilegon.
