Abstract
Gastritis is the disease with the highest global prevalence of non-communicable diseases (NCDs) in the world with 583,635 patients. Gastritis is a disease that occurs in the digestive system disorder in the inflamed stomach lining where the sufferer will often feel pain in the abdomen or in the epigastrium. This study aims to determine the description of theory and application regarding nursing care for knowledge deficits in gastritis clients with leafleat education in the serang city health center area. The research method used was qualitative research with a research design that is a case study through a nursing care approach that includes nursing assessment, nursing diagnosis, nursing intervention, nursing implementation, and nursing evaluation. The subjects of this study were two gastritis clients who experienced knowledge deficit problems in the city of attack health center area. The results of this study showed that the increase in knowledge was characterized by patient 1 pre-test being able to answer 3 out of 10 questions and during the post-test being able to answer 8 out of 10 questions, while patient 2 pre-test was able to answer 5 out of 10 questions and post-test was able to answer 10 out of 10 questions. Providing education about gastritis use a media leaflet can increase knowledge and overcome the problem of knowledge deficit.

| Additional Information: | Gastritis merupakan penyakit dengan prevalensi global penyakit tidak menular (PTM) terbanyak didunia dengan 583.635 penderita. Gastritis merupakan penyakit yang terjadi pada gangguan sistem pencernaan pada lapisan lambung yang terinflamasi dimana penderitanya akan sering merasa nyeri pada bagian perut atau pada bagian epigastrium. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran teori dan aplikasi mengenai asuhan keperawatan defisit pengetahuan pada klien gastritis dengan edukasi leafleat di wilayah puskesmas serang kota. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian yaitu studi kasus melalui pendekatan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian keperawatan, diagnosa keperawatan, intervensi keperawatan, implementasi keperawatan, dan evaluasi keperawatan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah dua klien gastritis yang mengalami masalah defisit pengetahuan di wilayah puskesmas serang kota. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan ditandai dengan pasien 1 pre-test mampu menjawab 3 dari 10 pertanyaan dan saat post-test mampu menjawab 8 dari 10 pertanyaan, sedangkan pasien 2 pre-test mampu menjawab 5 dari 10 pertanyaan dan post-test mapu menjawab 10 dari 10 pertanyaan.
