Abstract

This research and development aims to determine the process of developing mathematical creative thinking assessment instruments based on Banten local culture for junior high school students in grade VII; determine the feasibility of developing mathematical creative thinking assessment instruments based on Banten local culture for junior high school students in grade VII; and determine the profile of mathematical creative thinking ability in junior high school students in grade VII. This research used the Research and Development (R&D) method and the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The research subjects used in this study were junior high school students consisting of 31 students in class VIII and 82 students in class VII. The instruments used in this study, namely material expert validation sheet, assessment expert validation sheet, student response questionnaire sheet, and mathematical creative thinking assessment instrument based on Banten local culture with a total of 5 description questions. The results of this study showed that: (a) the results of the theoretical validity test calculated by Aiken's V formula obtained a value of 0.770 with a category that is quite valid by material experts and 0.656 with a category that is quite valid by assessment experts; (b) the results of the empirical validity test calculated using the product moment formula which shows that the questions developed are valid (c) the results of the reliability test are consistent in the small-scale trial of 0.755 and the reliability of the large-scale trial of 0.7072 so that it is categorized as high, the differentiating power is 5 items of questions categorized as good, and the level of difficulty is 5 items of questions categorized as medium. (d) The results of the student response questionnaire obtained an average score of 76.85 which is categorized as valid so that the Banten local culture-based mathematical creative thinking assessment instrument produces a valid assessment instrument and is feasible to use as a training resource to improve students' mathematical creative thinking skills; (e) Profile of mathematical creative thinking skills of junior high school students in grade VII with an average total score of 64 categorized as creative.

Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (a) hasil uji validitas teoritik yang dihitung dengan formula Aiken’s V diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,770 dengan kategori cukup valid oleh ahli materi dan 0,656 dengan kategori cukup valid oleh ahli asesmen; (b) hasil uji validitas empirik yang dihitung menggunakan formula product moment yang menunjukkan bahwa soal yang dikembangkan bernilai valid (c) hasil uji reliabilitas konsisten pada uji coba skala kecil sebesar 0,755 dan reliabilitas uji coba skala besar sebesar 0,7072 sehingga dikategorikan tinggi, daya pembedanya yaitu 5 item soal berkategori baik, serta tingkat kesukarannya yaitu 5 item soal berkategori sedang. (d) Hasil angket respon siswa memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 76,85 yang berkategori valid sehingga instrumen asesmen berpikir kreatif matematis berbasis budaya lokal Banten menghasilkan instrumen penilaian yang valid dan layak digunakan sebagai sumber latihan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa; (e) Profil kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis siswa SMP kelas VII dengan rata-rata skor total 64 berkategori kreatif.
