Abstract
This research was motivated by the low mathematical literacy skills of students in Indonesia. Students are still not used to working on mathematical literacy questions using local cultural aspects because it is far from the cultural scheme they have, so there needs to be context in learning mathematics to make it easier for students to understand mathematical literacy questions. This research aims to develop and see the potential impact of a valid and reliable mathematical literacy instrument in the context of Traditional Banten Cake on junior high school students. The subjects of this research were students of SMPN 14 Serang City. This research uses the Plomp Research and Development (R&D) model which consists of five stages, namely self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, and field test. This research produced eight PISA mathematical literacy instruments that were valid and reliable. The instrument developed has a potential impact seen from students' ability to: (1) apply a simple context using mixed arithmetic operations to find percentages; (2) identify instructions that have been given in the form of pictures; (3) identify the instructions given in the form of a picture of a pasung cake to find the hypotenuse using Pythagoras; (4) formulate the instructions given in the form of a triangle pattern to find the percentage of the 4th row; (5) analyze the statements given to find a comparison of the resulting cake; (6) interpret sales data using the graphs provided; (7) formulate average daily production results and can be expressed in a statement; and (8) analyzing the instructions given in the form of triangular pattern images.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan literasi matematis yang dimiliki siswa di Indonesia. Siswa masih belum terbiasa untuk mengerjakan soal literasi matematis menggunakan aspek budaya lokal karena jauh dari skema budaya yang mereka miliki sehingga perlu adanya konteks dalam pembelajaran matematika agar mempermudah siswa dalam memahami soal literasi matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan melihat dampak potensial instrumen literasi matematis konteks Kue Tradisional Banten yang valid dan realibel pada siswa SMP. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa SMPN 14 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Research and Development (R&D) Plomp yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu self-evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Penelitian ini menghasilkan delapan instrumen literasi matematis PISA serta valid dan realibel. Instrumen yang dikembangkan mempunyai dampak potensial dilihat dari kemampuan siswa dalam: (1) menerapkan konteks sederhana menggunakan operasi hitung campuran untuk mencari jumlah persentase; (2) mengidentifikasi instruksi yang sudah diberikan dalam bentuk gambar; (3) mengidentifikasi instruksi yang diberikan dalam bentuk gambar kue pasung untuk mencari sisi miring menggunakan phytagoras; (4) memformulasikan instruksi yang diberikan dalam bentuk gambar pola segitiga untuk mencari persentase dari baris ke-4; (5) menganalisis pernyataan yang diberikan untuk mencari perbandingan kue yang dihasilkan; (6) menginterpretasikan data penjualan menggunakan grafik yang sudah diberikan; (7) memformulasikan hasil rata-rata produksi harian dan dapat dinyatakan dengan suatu pernyataan; dan (8) menganalisis instruksi yang diberikan dalam bentuk gambar pola segitiga. | |||||||||
