Abstract
Diabetes mellitus is a chronic condition caused by blood glucose levels in the body that cannot produce or produce insulin effectively. Hypoglycemia is a condition in which glucose levels in the blood are low below normal values. This condition is included in life-threatening emergencies and often occurs in people with type 2 diabetes. The value of glucose levels in the blood is hypoglycemia with a value of ≤ 70 mg/dL. In Banten, the number of sufferers is around 1.84%. The increase is inseparable from the poor lifestyle and diet, many of them diabetics are only fixated on what they like and of course a careless diet is often accompanied by an unhealthy lifestyle such as not exercising, and tends not to care about what damage will happen to themselves and most of them do not evenknowing that he has a disease and only finds out after he is in a chronic or acute condition . The purpose of this case study is to find out and understand the picture in patients with the case of "Emergency Nursing Care with Blood Sugar Instability (Hypoglycemia) in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus Patients in the Emergency Installation Room at Dr. Drajat Prawiranegara Hospital. The subject of this case study is a patient in the emergency installation room of dr. Drajat prawiranegara. The results of this case study researchers found symptoms in both patients, namely weak palpable pulse, decreased skin turgor, and pale skin. The actions implemented are checking blood sugar at any time, administering IV fluids, and collaborating with doctors for pharmacological therapy.

| Additional Information: | Diabetes melitus adalah suatu kondisi kronis yang disebabkan karena kadar glukosa darah didalam tubuh tidak dapat menghasilkan atau memproduksi insulin secara efektif . Hipoglikemi adalah suatu kondisi kadar glukosa dalam darah yang rendah dibawah nilai normal. Kondisi ini termasuk dalam gawat darurat yang menngancam nyawa dan sering terjadi pada penderita DM tipe 2. Nilai kadar glukosa dalam darah mengalami hipoglikemi dengan nilai ≤ 70 mg/dL. Di Banten jumlah penderita sekitar 1,84 %. peningkatan tidak terlepas dari pola hidup dan pola makan yang buruk banyak dari mereka para penderita diabetes hanya terpaku pada apa yang mereka suka dan pastinya pola makan yang sembarangan sering juga di bareng dengan pola hidup yang tidak sehat seperti tidak berolahraga, dan cenderung tidak perduli dengan kerusakan apa yang terjadi nantinya pada diri bahkan kebanyakan tidak mengetahui bahwa dirinya terkena suatu penyakit dan baru mengetahui setelah sudah di dalam kondisi kronis ataupun akut. Tujuan studi kasus ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan memahami gambaran pada pasien dengan kasus “Asuhan Keperawatan Gawat Darurat Dengan Ketidakstabilan Gula Darah (Hipoglikemia) Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 Di Ruang Instalasi Gawat Darurat Di Rumah Sakit RSUD Dr.Drajat Prawiranegara dapat teratasi. Subjekstudi kasus ini adalah pasien diruang instalasi gawat darurat RSUD dr.Drajat prawiranegara. Hasil studi kasus ini peneliti menemukan gejala pada kedua pasien yaitu dengan adanya Nadi teraba lemah, turgor kulit menurun, dan kulit pucat. Tindakan yang diimplementasikan yaitu cek gula darah sewaktu, pemberian cairan IV, serta berkolaborasi dengan dokter untuk terapi farmakologi. | |||||||||
