Abstract
This research is a quasi-experimental study that aims to find out: (1) a description of the motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of students taught using the CRH type cooperative learning model and conventional learning models; and (2) the influence of the CRH type cooperative learning model on the motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of class VII students at SMP Negeri 2 Serang City for the 2023/2024 academic year. Researchers chose two classes with cluster random sampling. The experimental class chosen was class VIIB, and the control class was class VIIA, with a total of 42 students per class. Data was obtained from observations, a pretest, a posttest, and a final questionnaire. The data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical analysis. The results of the descriptive statistical analysis are: (1) the average mathematics learning motivation score for students taught using the CRH cooperative learning model is 66.95 and the conventional learning model is 65.90. Then the t-test shows that the P value is 0.02, which is smaller than 0.05 with an average difference value of 1.05 > 0. This means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted for motivation; (2) the average mathematics learning outcome score for students taught using the CRH-type cooperative learning model is 50.56 and the conventional learning model is 41.98. Then the t-test shows the P value is 0.00 < 0.05. This means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. So the CRH learning model influences the motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of students at SMP Negeri 2, Serang City.

Hasil dari analisis statistika deskriptif adalah: (1) rata-rata skor motivasi belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH adalah 66,95 dan model pembelajaran konvensional 65,90. Kemudian pada uji-t menunjukkan nilai P adalah 0,02 yang lebih kecil dari 0,05 dengan nilai perbedaan rata-rata 1,05 > 0, Ini berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima untuk motivasi; (2) rata-rata nilai hasil belajar matematika siswa yang diajar dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe CRH adalah 50,56 dan model pembelajaran konvensional adalah 41,98. Kemudian pada uji-t menunjukkan nilai P adalah 0,00 < 0,05. Ini berarti bahwa H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.
