Abstract

The problems that often arise when studying chemistry are ways of presenting material that are less interesting, less effective and only oriented towards solving material that is memorized a lot. This problem can be solved with learning media that can attract students' attention. The solution is the need for animaker-based learning media. The aim of this research is to develop animaker-based learning media on the application of chemical material in everyday life in a fun way. This research uses the Research & Development method with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research produces a product in the form of an animaker-based animated video that is valid and suitable for use with a total V value for 5 material expert validators of 0.96 and media of 0.95. Meanwhile, the results of 35 students' responses to Animaker-based animated video learning media on the application of chemistry in everyday life obtained an average of 90%. It can be concluded that Animaker-based animation videos are in the very good category and are very suitable for use in chemistry learning.

Additional Information: Permasalahan yang sering muncul saat pembelajaran kimia adalah cara penyajian materi yang kurang menarik, kurang efektif dan hanya berorientasi pada pemecahan materi yang banyak dihafalkan. Masalah tersebut bisa disiasati dengan media pembelajaran yang dapat menarik perhatian siswa. Solusinya adalah perlu adanya media pembelajaran berbasis animaker. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis animaker pada materi penerapan kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari dengan cara yang menyenangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analyze, Design,Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa video animasi berbasis animaker yang valid dan layak digunakan dengan nilai V total untuk 5 validator ahli materi sebesar 0,96 dan media sebesar 0,95. Sedangkan hasil respons 35 siswa terhadap media pembelajaran video animasi berbasis animaker pada materi penerapan kimia dalam kehidupan sehari-hari memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 90%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa video animasi berbasis animaker berada dalam kategori yang sangat baik dan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia.
