Abstract

C-dots research made from organic waste is an interesting research in the search for new nanomaterials, the development of making C-dots using organic waste is a very rapid new advance. C-dots can emit light and are non-toxic. This research was conducted by synthesizing using the bottom up method, namely microwave (microwave) iradation. Researchers used a comparative concentration of 10 grams of papaya peel dissolved with 100 ml of aquades and 12.5 grams of papaya peel dissolved with 200 ml of aquades. 8 samples microwave for 7 minutes, 8 minutes, 9 minutes and 10 minutes and 2 unheated samples. Of the 10 samples, only 3 samples characterized using a Uv-Vis spectrophotometer produced absorbance peaks in the wavelength range of 224-302 nm, and 1 sample characterized using FTIR produced a C=C functional group.

Additional Information: Penelitian C-dots berbahan dasar limbah organik merupakan penelitian yang sedang menarik dalam pencarian nanomaterial baru, perkembangan pembuatan C-dots menggunakan limbah organik menjadi kemajuan baru yang sangat pesat. C-dots dapat memancarkan cahaya dan tidak beracun. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan mensintesis menggunakan metode bottom up yaitu iradasi gelombang mikro (microwave). Peneliti menggunakan konsentrasi perbandingan 10 gram kulit pepaya dilarutkan dengan 100 ml aquades dan 12,5 gram kulit pepaya dilarutkan dengan 200 ml aquades. 8 sampel melakukan pemanasan microwave selama 7 menit, 8 menit, 9 menit dan 10 menit dan 2 sampel yang tidak dipanaskan. Dari 10 sampel tersebut hanya 3 sampel yang dilakukan karakterisasi menggunakan spektrofotometer Uv-Vis menghasilkan puncak absorbansi pada rentang panjang gelombang 224-302 nm, dan 1 sampel yang dikarakterisasi menggunakan FTIR menghasilkan gugus fungsi C=C.
