Abstract

One of the problems often faced in the field of education today is how to improve the level of education. One important strategy that teachers must use in the teaching process is to ensure students understand the material. The aims of this research are 1) to determine the feasibility of Problem Based Learning-based Student Worksheets (LKPD) on the critical thinking abilities of class X Renewable Energy material. This research uses a quantitative approach, and uses a Quasi Experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design model. With experimental and control classes totaling 56 students. The results of the research are that the LKPD based on Problem Based Learning is suitable for use, this is aimed at the results of the LKPD validation by media expert validators and material experts with the V value of material experts being 0.95 and media experts being 0.94, so that the results obtained from the validation These are valid and suitable for use and there is an influence of using Problem Based Learning (PBL) based LKPD as shown by the results of the T-Test analysis with sig. 0.000 < 0.05 and from the N-Gain results for the experimental class, each indicator value was obtained, namely interpretation 0.182, analysis 0.502, evaluation 0.248, and explanation 0.266. Meanwhile, for the control class, the interpretation indicator has a value of 0.032, analysis 0.037, evaluation 0.001, and explanation 0.059. Meanwhile, the overall N-Gain for the experimental class obtained a value of 0.9369 in the high category and the control class had an N-Gain of 0.1781 in the low category.

Additional Information: Salah satu permasalahan yang sering dihadapi dalam bidang pendidikan saat ini adalah bagaimana meningkatkan taraf pendidikan. Salah satu strategi penting yang harus digunakan guru dalam proses pengajaran adalah memastikan siswa memahami materi. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah 1) Mengetahui kelayakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X materi Energi Terbarukan 2) Mengetahui pengaruh Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis Problem Based Learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas X materi Energi Terbarukan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, serta menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental dengan model desain nonequivalent control group design. Dengan kelas eksperimen dan kontrol berjumlah 56 siswa. Hasil penelitian yaitu LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning layak digunakan, hal ini yang ditujukan dengan hasil validasi LKPD oleh validator ahli media dan ahli materi dengan hasil nilai V ahli materi sebesar 0,95 dan ahli media sebesar 0,94, sehingga hasil yang didapatkan dari validasi tersebut Valid dan layak digunakan dan terdapat pengaruh penggunaan LKPD berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) yang ditunjukan dengan hasil analisis Uji-T dengan sig. 0,000 < 0,05 dan dari hasil N-Gain untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh masing-masing nilai indikator yaitu interpretasi 0,182, analisis 0, 502, evaluasi 0,248, dan eksplanasi 0,266. Sedangkan untuk kelas kontrol indikator interpretasi dengan nilai 0,032, analisis 0,037, evaluasi 0,001, dan eksplanasi 0,059. Sedangkan untuk N-Gain keseluruhan untuk kelas eksperimen diperoleh nilai sebsesar 0,9369 dengan kategori tinggi dan kelas kontrol dengan N- Gain sebesar 0,1781 dengan kategori rendah.
