Abstract

Background: Childbirth is a process of opening, thinning of the cervix and descent of the fetus towards the birth canal. Normal labor and birth is the process of expelling the fetus that a pregnant woman will experience at term at approximately (37-42 weeks). In the first stage of labor, the mother will experience pain due to changes in the cervix (thinning of the cervix) and uterine ischemia. A pain can be felt starting from the bottom of the abdomen and spreading to the lumbar area, back and thighs when the contraction is about to decrease in the contraction interval. Pain is normal during the birth process. However, pain can also cause a feeling of anxiety and fatigue in the mother who is about to give birth, which has a negative effect on the progress of labor and the well-being of the fetus. Objective: The aim of this case study is to carry out nursing care for first-stage inpartum patients to fulfill the need for reducing acute pain using cold compresses in the delivery room of the Banten Province Regional Hospital. Method: The method used in this case study uses a case study to examine the description of the problem in 1st Stage Inpartum Patients. Fulfilling the Need for Acute Pain Reduction with Cold Compress Actions and implementing a nursing care approach which includes assessment, nursing diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation. Results: This cold compress has an effective effect on reducing or overcoming pain during labor in the first stage. In the first patient, Mrs. R on the pain scale from 7 to 4 and the second patient, Mrs. E on the pain scale is 6 to 3. Conclusion: cold compresses in the first stage of labor with acute pain have an effective effect and are able to reduce the pain of both patients and can be used and developed further by future researchers.

Additional Information:	Latar Belakang : Persalinan adalah sebuah proses pembukaan, menipisnya serviks dan turunnya janin ke arah jalan lahir. Persalinan dan kelahiran normal adalah proses pengeluaran janin yang akan dialami oleh ibu hamil saat usia kehamilan cukup bulan kurang lebih pada(37-42 minggu). Pada kala I persalinan, ibu akan mengalami sebuah rasa nyeri akibat perubahan serviks (penipisan serviks) dan iskhemi uterus. Sebuah nyeri bisa dirasakan mulai dari bawah abdomen dan sehingga menyebar ke daerah lumbal, punggung dan paha pada saat akan kontraksi menurun padal interval kontraksi. Rasa nyeri merupakan hal yang normal saat proses persalinan. Namun, nyeri juga dapat menimbukan sebuah rasa kecemasan dan kelelahan pada ibu yang akan melahirkan berpengaruh negatif pada kemajuan persalinan dan kesejahteraan pada janin tersebut. Tujuan : Tujuan dari studi kasus ini untuk melaksanakan Asuhan Keperawatan Pada Pasien Inpartu Kala I Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Penurunan Nyeri Akut Dengan Tindakan Kompres Dingin Di Ruang Bersalin RSUD Provinsi Banten. Metode : Metode yang digunakan dalam studi kasus ini menggunakan studi kasus untuk meneliti tentang gambaran masalah Pada Pasien Inpartu Kala 1 Pemenuhan Kebutuhan Penurunan Nyeri Akut Dengan Tindakan Kompres Dingin dan melakukan pendekatan asuhan keperawatan yang meliputi pengkajian, diagnosa keperawatan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan dan evaluasi. Hasil : Kompres dingin ini berpengaruh secara efektif untuk menurunkan atau mengatasi rasa nyeri saat persalinan pada kala I. Pada pasien pertamana Ny. R dari skala nyeri 7 menjadi 4 dan pasien kedua Ny. E dari skala nyeri 6 menjadi 3. Kesimpulan : kompres dingin pada kala I persalinan dengan nyeri akut secara efektif berpengaruh dan mampu menurunkan nyeri dari kedua pasien serta dapat digunakan dan dikembangkan lagi sebagai peneliti selanjutnya.
