Abstract

Teaching materials that found in schools are often still in the form of reading books that are less interesting because the material contained is not equipped with clear illustrations. As a result, students are less able to understand the concepts of the material being studied. E-book learning media can help teachers to visualize the subject efficiently through interesting illustration. E-booklets can be created based on research data from daily life. This study aims to develop research-based ebooklet learning media on intermolecular interaction topic. The Research method used is ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The media was validated by six media experts and six material experts. The validity of the validation results was checked using the Aiken validity test. The developed ebooklet media has a validation value of 0,88 for media validation and 0,90 for material validation. Both are included in the “Valid” description. The e-booklet media was the implemented to students of XI MIPA class at SMA Negeri 1 Bandung, Serang to find out the students’ responses after using it. Through the students’ responses questionnaire, the result of media practicality was 84% with description “Very Good”.

Additional Information: Bahan ajar yang dijumpai di sekolah seringkali masih berupa buku bacaan yang kurang menarik karena materi yang dimuat tidak dilengkapi dengan ilustrasi yang jelas. Akibatnya, peserta didik kurang mampu memahami konsep materi yang dipelajari. Media pembelajaran e-booklet mampu membantu guru dalam memvisualisasikan materi yang ia sampaikan secara praktis namun tetap dilengkapi ilustrasi yang menarik. E-booklet dapat disusun berdasarkan data hasil suatu riset yang berkaitan dengan kehidupan sehari-hari. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran E-booklet berbasis riset pada materi interaksi antarmolekul. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode Research and Design (R&D) model ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Media divalidasi oleh enam orang ahli media dan enam orang ahli materi. Hasil validasi diuji validitasnya menggunakan uji validitas Aiken. Media e-booklet yang dikembangkan memiliki nilai validitas sebesar 0,88 untuk validasi media dan 0,90 untuk validasi materi. Keduanya termasuk dalam keterangan “Valid”. Media e-booklet kemudian diemplementasikan kepada peserta didik kelas XI MIPA di SMA Negeri 1 Bandung, Kabupaten Serang untuk mengetahui respons peserta didik setelah menggunakannya. Melalui angket respons peserta didik, didapati hasil kepraktisan media sebesar 84% dengan keterangan “Sangat Baik”.
