Abstract

Chemistry is one of the subjects that students consider difficult because it is abstract and boring because it only focuses on concepts and formulas without being linked to local culture so that learning becomes meaningless. Therefore, teaching methods and teaching media are needed that can provide students' interest in learning. The development of traditional science-based E-Modules in electrolyte and non-electrolyte solution materials can be a solution to this problem. This research aims to develop, test the feasibility and determine students' responses to the practicality of traditional science-based E-Module learning media on electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solution material. This research uses the Research & Development method with the ADDIE model which consists of 5 stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This research produced a product in the form of a traditional science-based electronic module that is valid and suitable for use with a total V value for 6 material expert validators of 0.85 and media of 0.87. Meanwhile, the results of 25 students' responses to traditional science-based E-Module learning media on electrolyte and non-electrolyte solutions obtained an average of 90%. It can be concluded that the traditional science-based E-Module is in a very good category and is very suitable for use in chemistry learning.

Additional Information: Mata pelajaran kimia adalah salah satu mata pelajaran yang dianggap sukar karena sifatnya yang abstrak dan membosankan oleh siswa dikarenakan hanya berfokus pada konsep dan rumus saja tanpa dikaitkan dengan budaya lokal sehingga pembelajaran menjadi tidak bermakna. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan metode mengajar dan media ajar yang dapat memberikan minat belajar siswa. Pengembangan E-Modul berbasis sains tradisional pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit dapat menjadi solusi permasalahan ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan dan mengetahui respons siswa terhadap kepraktisan media pembelajaran E-Modul berbasis sains tradisional pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research & Development dengan model ADDIE yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, dan Evaluation. Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk berupa modul elektronik berbasis sains tradisional yang valid dan layak digunakan dengan nilai V total untuk 6 validator ahli materi sebesar 0,85 dan media sebesar 0,87. Sedangkan hasil respons 25 siswa terhadap media pembelajaran E-Modul berbasis sains tradisional pada materi larutan elektrolit dan non elektrolit memperoleh rata-rata sebesar 90%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa E-Modul berbasis sains tradisional berada dalam kategori yang sangat baik dan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran kimia.
