Abstract
This study aims to describe students' mathematical communication skills in solving mathematical literacy problems in terms of learning style inventory. This research method uses qualitative descriptive with the research subjects of 27 students of SMPN 2 Cilegon City class VIII F. Mathematical communication skills test instruments, LSI learning style questionnaires, and interview guidelines. This research procedure starts from the preparation, data collection, and data analysis stages. The analytical technique used by researchers is the triangulation technique to draw conclusions as. The results of this study show that different learning styles have diverse communication skills. Upper and middle divergent students are able to meet three indicators of mathematical communication skills. Lower divergent students are not yet able to state everyday problems or events in a mathematical model. Upper, medium, and lower assimilator students are able to meet three indicators of mathematical communication ability. Top and medium converter students are able to meet three indicators of mathematical communication ability. Lower converter students are only able to explain ideas or solutions to mathematical problems in the form of pictures. Top and moderate accomodator students are able to meet three indicators of mathematical communication ability. Lower accomodator students have not been able to meet the three indicators of mathematical communication skills.

Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis ditinjau dari Learning Style Inventory. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian 27 siswa SMPN 2 Kota Cilegon kelas VIII F. Instrumen tes kemampuan komunikasi matematis, angket gaya belajar LSI, dan pedoman wawancara. Prosedur penelitian ini dimulai dari tahap persiapan, pengambilan data, dan analisis data. Teknik analisis yang digunakan oleh peneliti yakni teknik triangulasi untuk menarik kesimpulan. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa gaya belajar yang berbeda-beda memiliki kemampuan komunikasi yang beragam. Siswa diverger atas dan tengah mampu memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa diverger bawah belum mampu menyatakan masalah atau peristiwa sehari-hari dalam model matematika. Siswa asimilator atas, tengah, dan bawah mampu memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa converger atas dan tengah mampu memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan komunikasi matematis. Siswa converger bawah hanya mampu menjelaskan ide atau solusi dari permasalahan matematika dalam bentuk gambar.
