Abstract
The students experienced difficulties in numeracy literacy regarding number concepts, as evidenced by their daily test scores ranging between 55-67. These difficulties encompassed using numbers and symbols, as well as interpreting analysis results to predict and make decisions. Therefore, students' numeracy literacy skills need support through appropriate teaching materials. Hence, this research aims to create a Problem Based Learning (PBL) based e-module that is valid, practical, and effective in supporting students' numeracy literacy. The research employed the ADDIE development research method, with a sample consisting of 30 seventh-grade students from MTs Negeri 1 Kota Serang. Data were obtained from validation by subject matter experts and media experts, responses from seventh-grade mathematics students and teachers through a media practicality questionnaire, as well as numeracy literacy pretests and posttests. The validation results from the validation team showed an average percentage of 78% for media experts and 86.66% for subject matter experts. Meanwhile, media practicality had an average percentage of 80.17%, and numeracy literacy test scores on the pretest had an average percentage of 62.36% and 75% on the posttest, indicating a difference between the pretest and posttest averages based on the paired sample t- test. From these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) based e-module produced is suitable for supporting students' numeracy literacy.
