Abstract
The very rapid influence of globalization is causing problems for students' low morale. Moral education as a basis for self-discipline becomes a tool of internal control in consistent behavior for students. Through Mabit co-curricular activities, school has a role and responsibility to improve students' morals so that students have a personality called smart and good citizenship through Mabit co-curricular activities at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang. This research aims to find out: (1) The implementation of Mabit activities in improving morale in SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang, (2) The supporting and inhibiting factors of Mabit activities in SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang, (3) The results of Mabit activities in improving morale in SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang. This type of research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation and interviews. The data analysis techniques used in this research are data reduction, data presentation, triangulation, drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that the implementation of Mabit activities in improving morale at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang is in accordance with the school's expected goals. The enthusiasm that exists within the students and also the lack of support from the family are supporting and inhibiting factors for this activity. The result of this activity is that the application of students' morals has been carried out in students' daily lives at school.

Additional Information: | Pengaruh globalisasi yang sangat pesat memberikan masalah bagi rendahnya moral siswa. Pendidikan moral sebagai landasan disiplin diri menjadi sebuah alat pengendalian internal dalam berperilaku konsisten bagi diri peserta didik. Melalui kegiatan kokulikuler Mabit sebagai salah satu sarana pendidikan untuk membina ruhiyah, melembutkan hati, membersihkan jiwa, dan membiasakan fisik untuk beribadah sehingga siswa memiliki kepribadian yang disebut smart and good citizenship melalui kegiatan kokulikuler Mabit di SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui : (1) Implementasi kegiatan Mabit dalam meningkatkan moral di SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang, (2) Faktor pendukung dan penghambat kegiatan Mabit di SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang, (3) Hasil kegiatan Mabit dalam Meningkatkan moral di SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, penyajian data, triangulasi, penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa implementasi kegiatan Mabit dalam meningkatkan moral di SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang sudah sesuai dengan tujuan yang diharapkan sekolah yakni Mewujudkan moral siswa SMPN 5 Kota Serang Bertakwa, Cerdas dan Berbudi pekerti baik. Rasa semangat yang ada pada diri siswa dan juga kurangnya dukungan dari pihak keluarga menjadi faktor pendukung dan penghambat kegiatan ini. Hasil dari kegiatan ini yaitu penerapan moral siswa sudah dilakukan dalam keseharian siswa disekolah. | |||||||||
