Abstract

This research aims to obtain information regarding the Adaptation of Electrical Power Installation Engineering Vocational School Teachers in Serang City regarding learning challenges, teacher competency and teacher efforts to increase competency in learning in the Era of Revolution 4.0. The approach used is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The informants in this research are the Deputy Head of Curriculum, Head of the Electrical Power Installation Engineering Department, and a teacher in the Electrical Power Installation Engineering Department with data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is the Miles and Huberman interactive model with the help of Atlas.TI 9 software. The results obtained in this research are; (1) The challenges experienced by Vocational School teachers for Electrical Power Installation Engineering Skills Competency in Serang City are internet access that is not yet available, practical facilities that are still lagging behind the industry, especially in private schools which receive minimal assistance from the government, and senior teachers who are still difficulties in following digitalization and students not yet fully having digital devices when teachers want to direct learning towards digitalization (2) Vocational School Teachers Competency Electrical Power Installation Engineering Skills in Serang City in learning have been able to adapt to following Revolution Era 4.0 learning using direct and Problem Based learning models Learning (PBL), for the learning media used by TITL Vocational School teachers in Serang City, it is a combination of conventional learning media and digital media. The curriculum used in private schools is only a thirteen revised curriculum, while in public schools the independent curriculum and thirteen revised curriculum are used. , (3) Efforts to increase the competency of TITL Vocational School teachers in Serang City, namely in the form of training programs, providing free internet, and providing appropriate practical equipment facilities. Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi mengenai Adaptasi Guru SMK Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di Kota Serang mengenai Tantangan pembelajaran, Kompetensi Guru dan upaya guru dalam peningkatan kompetensi dalam pembelajaran di Era Revolusi 4.0. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam yaitu penelitian kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Adapun informan pada penelitian ini yaitu Wakasek Kurikulum, Kepala Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik, dan Guru di Jurusan Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik dengan Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan model intraktif Miles dan Huberman dengan bantuan software Atlas.TI 9. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini, yaitu; (1) Tantangan yang dialami oleh guru SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di Kota Serang yaitu akses internet yang belum tersedia, fasilitas praktik yang masih banyak tertinggal dari industri terutama di Sekolah Swasta yang memang minim terkena bantuan dari pemerintah, dan guru senior yang masih kesulitan dalam mengikuti digitalisasi serta belum sepenuhnya peserta didik memiliki perangkat digital ketika guru ingin mengarahkan pembelajaran pada digitalisasi (2) Guru SMK Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik di Kota Serang dalam pembelajaran sudah bisa beradaptasi mengikuti pembelajaran Era Revolusi 4.0 menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung dan Problem Based Learning (PBL), untuk media pembelajaran yang digunakan Guru SMK TITL di Kota Serang berupa kombinasi media pembelajaran konvensional dan media digital, Kurikulum yang digunakan di sekolah swasta hanya berupa kurikulum tiga belas revisi sedangkan di sekolah negeri menggunakan kurikulum merdeka dan kurikulum tiga belas revisi,, (3) Upaya peningkatan kompetensi guru SMK TITL di Kota Serang yaitu berupa program pelatihan, penyediaan internet gratis, dan penyediaan fasilitas alat praktik yang tepat.
