Abstract

Education is one way for individuals to develop their personalities in accordance with the ideals of society and culture. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the work environment on work motivation, the influence of leadership, the principal on work motivation, the effect of incentives on work motivation, the influence of the work environment on teacher performance, the influence of principal leadership on teacher performance, the effect of incentives on teacher performance and the effect of work motivation on teacher performance The population in this study was public elementary school teachers in Karangtanjung District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province totaling 167 people, the sample used was all state elementary school teachers in Karangtanjung District, Pandeglang Regency, Banten Province The results of the research show that the work environment has a positive and significant effect on work motivation and teacher performance, the principal's leadership has a positive and significant effect on work motivation but has no effect on teacher performance, incentives have a positive and significant effect on work motivation and teacher performance and work motivation has an effect positive and significant on teacher performance.

Additional Information: Pendidikan merupakan salah satu cara bagi individu untuk mengembangkan kepribadiannya sesuai dengan cita-cita masyarakat dan budaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji pengaruh lingkungan kerja pada motivasi kerja, pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap motivasi kerja, pengaruh insentif terhadap motivasi kerja, pengaruh lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru, pengaruh kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru, pengaruh insentif terhadap kinerja guru dan pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja guru Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Karangtanjung, Kabupaten Pandeglang, Provinsi Banten yang berjumlah 175 orang, sampel yang digunakan adalah seluruh guru sekolah dasar negeri di Kecamatan Karangtanjung Kabupaten Pandeglang Provinsi Banten . Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa lingkungan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru, Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja namun tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja guru, Insentif berengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan kinerja guru dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja guru.
