Abstract
This research aims to find out whether there is a positive influence between spiritual extracurricular activities on the formation of the religious character of students at SMAN 8 Serang City. This research uses a quantitative approach with a correlation method. The data collection technique used was in the form of a questionnaire given to students who took part in spiritual extracurricular activities at SMAN 8 Serang City and documentation. The data analysis technique in this research is parametric analysis techniques including normality tests, homogeneity tests and simple regression analysis hypothesis tests. The research results show a significant influence between spiritual extracurricular activities and the formation of the religious character of students at SMAN 8 Kota Serang. Data obtained from the religious extracurricular activities questionnaire (variable x) and the religious character formation questionnaire (variable y) research results were obtained from F count > F table (338.566> 4.067). Based on the hypothesis test, the correlation coefficient has a powerful influence (R), namely 0.942. From the output, the coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.887. Thus, the influence of the independent variable (spiritual extracurricular activities) on the dependent variable (formation of religious character) is 88.7% and 12% is influenced by other factors such as family environmental factors, friend factors, and so on.

| Additional Information: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh positif antara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler rohis terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa SMAN 8 Kota Serang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode korelasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu berupa angket yang diberikan kepada siswa yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler rohis di SMAN 8 Kota Serang dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik analisis parametrik meliputi Uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis analiss regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa : Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kegiatan ekstrakurikuler rohis terhadap pembentukan karakter religius siswa SMAN 8 Kota Serang. Data yang diperoleh dari angket kegiatan ekstrakurikuler rohis (variabel x) dan angket pembentukan karakter religius (variabel y) hasil penelitian diperoleh dari F hitung > F tabel (338,566>4,067). Berdasarkan Uji hipotesis koefisiensi korelasi mempunyai pengaruh yang sangat kuat (R) yaitu sebesar 0,942 dari output tersebut diperoleh keofesiensi determinasi (R Square) sebesar 0,887. Dengan demikian bahwa pengaruh variabel bebas (Kegiatan ekstrakurikuler rohis) terhadap variabel terikat (Pembentukan karakter religius) adalah sebesar 88,7% dan 12% dipengaruhi faktor lain seperti faktor lingkungan keluarga, faktor teman dan lain sebagainya. | |||||||||
