Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between rainfall and watershed characteristics, especially river discharge, using Spearman correlation data. Rainfall data was obtained from the Budiarto-Curug Class III Meteorological Station, while river discharge data came from the Tangerang Regency Ciliwung Cisadane River Basin Center. The analysis was conducted on the last 10 years, with the highest rainfall reaching 29.6 mm in October 2020, and the largest river discharge reaching 63.7 m/s in 2013. The results of the correlation analysis show that the relationship between rainfall and hydrological physical characteristics (river discharge) has a significance value of 0.027, indicating a significant relationship. However, the Spearman correlation value of 0.20 indicates that the relationship is weak. In particular, the form of the relationship is positive, meaning that if rainfall increases, river discharge will tend to increase, and vice versa.

Additional Information: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara curah hujan dengan karakteristik daerah aliran sungai, khususnya debit sungai, dengan menggunakan data korelasi Spearman. Data curah hujan diperoleh dari Stasiun Meteorologi Kelas III Budiarto-Curug, sedangkan data debit sungai berasal dari Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai Ciliwung Cisadane Kabupaten Tangerang. Analisis dilakukan terhadap 10 tahun terakhir, dengan curah hujan tertinggi mencapai 29,6 mm pada bulan Oktober tahun 2020, dan debit sungai terbesar mencapai 63,7 m/s pada tahun 2013. Hasil analisis korelasi menunjukkan bahwa hubungan antara curah hujan dengan karakteristik fisik hidrologi (debit sungai) memiliki nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,027, mengindikasikan adanya hubungan yang signifikan. Namun, nilai Spearman correlation sebesar 0,20 menunjukkan bahwa hubungan tersebut bersifat lemah. Secara khusus, bentuk hubungan tersebut bersifat positif, artinya jika curah hujan meningkat, debit sungai akan cenderung meningkat, dan sebaliknya.
