Abstract
Every student must have a different learning style, the learning style possessed by students is expected to help in learning mathematics, one of which can help in solving mathematical problems. This research is a qualitative study with a descriptive approach because the purpose of this study is to describe the results of students' learning style abilities on problem solving skills on pyhtagorean theorem material. The subjects of this research amounted to 36 students of SMPN 1 Cikupa The results showed that students in class VIII-F had a learning style with an auditory learning style dominating with 61%, students with a visual learning style 25% and kinesthetic 14%.The average value of the problem solving ability of the Pythagorean Theorem material of students with an auditory learning style was 61.07, students with a visual learning style 70, and students with a kinesthetic learning style 63.75. Among the four indicators of problem solving ability, students with auditory averages cannot fulfill indicator 4, and the average student with auditory learning style cannot reflect the students' mathematical problem solving process.

Additional Information: | Setiap siswa pasti memiliki gaya belajar yang berbeda, gaya belajar yang dimiliki oleh siswa diharapkan membantu dalam pembelajaran matematika salah satunya dapat membantu dalam menyelesaikan permasalahan matematis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif karena tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan hasil kemampuan gaya belajar siswa terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah pada materi teorema pyhtagoras. Subjek penelitia ini berjumlah 36 siswa SMPN 1 Cikupa Hasil menunjukkan bahwa siswa kelas VIII-F mempunyai gaya belajar dengan gaya belajar auditori mendominasi dengan 61%, siswa dengan gaya belajar visual 25% dan kinestetik14%. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan pemecahan masalah materi Teorema Pythagoras siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori sebesar 61,07, siswa dengan gaya belajar visual 70, dan siswa dengan gaya belajar kinestetik 63,75. Di antara keempat indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah, siswa dengan rata-rata pendengaran tidak dapat memenuhi indikator 4, dan rata-rata siswa dengan gaya belajar auditori tidak dapat mencerminkan proses pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. | |||||||||
